Before You Join Any Money-making App, Read These 5 Red Flags First by StudentHustleHQ(op): 9:43am On May 16
Not every app that promises money is legit 👀

Some are just designed to waste your: • Time • Data • Energy …and sometimes even your money.

So before I trust any money-making app now, these are the 5 red flags I personally check first 👇

1️⃣ No real payment proof

If nobody can clearly explain how withdrawals work, I become careful immediately.

Some apps show fake screenshots everywhere but no real user experience.

2️⃣ They force you to pay first

If an app says: “Pay ₦5k before you can withdraw” 🚩 Huge red flag.

A legit platform usually lets you test small things first.

3️⃣ Too-good-to-be-true earnings

If an app claims: “Earn ₦50,000 daily just by clicking and chatting” …be careful 👀

Most real side hustle apps pay small amounts slowly.

4️⃣ No clear support or information

Before testing any app, I check: • Website • Social media • User complaints • Reviews

If everything looks hidden or confusing, I avoid it.

5️⃣ Pressure to refer people immediately

If the first thing an app wants is: “Invite 20 people before withdrawal” 🚩 I become suspicious immediately.

Real apps usually allow normal earning first before referrals.

My honest advice 👇

Don’t let urgent need for money push you into risky apps.

Always test slowly and do research first.

Some apps may pay… …but many are designed to take advantage of desperate people.

Have you ever been scammed by any online earning app before?

In the school where I teach, many of the teachers were into it. One even asked me to sign up for Alstom or something like it. I refused, remembering my loss during MMM. Not long AF we started hearing stories about crashes. An older lady invested 25k. It was her first time.

They believe in registering early in order to cash out early before the crash, register as many people, chop profits and wait for the eventual end of the scheme. It's wickedness, I tell you. Teachers are often the most hit, with their poor earnings.

They know many Nigerians are gullible and can believe anything!
Tell some people their mother is a witch, and it's either they kill the mother or the mother kills them, and they will believe, and pull the trigger first!!

Or you have never heard of those that sell their entire life savings and send to small small boys in Africa?

Have you ever heard of yahoo? Shebi making legit money on app still sounds plausible. You should see some of the stories some guys in ojuelegba tells some folks before they empty their bank accounts, sell their house and send the money!

I’m still testing different apps personally 👀

Some pay small amounts, some waste time completely.

Right now I prefer apps that: • don’t force payment first • have real withdrawal proof • allow small testing before referrals

I’ll probably make a future post about the few that looked more legit from my experience so far 💰
