So cancer has been in existence for centuries in Nigeria so much that we witness young people in their 30's and 40's dying from cancer?

In the years of my grandfathers, young people hardly die except from accidents and war. When a young man die, it is believed to be an evil omen. Now, you'll see a young man of 30 something or 40 something die, then they'll tell you it is cancer. Which kind cancer? Abeg.

There is something sinister going on in this era and present society that we do not yet know.

Everyone gets cancer if they live long enough. As the trillions of cells in your body replicate and multiply, there is always the chance that some of them turn cancerous and they do. Your body fights and kills cancer cells daily but it only takes one to go undetected.
As you grow older, your chances of cancer increase. It doesn't matter how healthy of a lifestyle a person lives, everyone will eventually develop cancer. Some just die of other causes before they get to that age.

Cancer has been existing for hundreds of years just there was no adequate medical facilities, and knowledge in that era to diagnose it properly. Historians have studied the cause of deaths of some of the people that died of "strange illnesses" in the past centuries s and some of the symptoms are similar to the cancers of today. Just that here in Africa, things were not documented as carefully as in the mediaeval era of the west but I'm sure some deaths were actually cancer. Cancer did not just suddenly spring out if nowhere, it has been around for hundreds if not thousands of years

It's a food additive made from Locust beans. It's smells weird but tastes great in food. I think some people call it dawadawa. Okpehe is the Idoma term for it.

When I cook I use lots of crayfish and okpehe in place of Seasoning cubes. It's taken a while for your palettes to adjust but it's way healthier.
