Maybe he is new in the country...
Jakumo:
This loud shouting person filming himself challenging armed men must have a death wish. It is not bravery, but suicidal madness, that would inspire anyone to confront and challenge an armed man, REGARDLESS of the circumstances.

I agree with this possibility you have mentioned. Nigerians who have spent years living in the USA or EU before heading back to Nigeria, tend to adopt an inflated sense of their own importance, and in their ability to single-handedly teach "local" Nigerians how things are done "overseas."

Those returnees have in some instances wound up getting shot dead because they felt entitled to lecture Nigerian police officers on how they should behave, forgetting that in ANY economically depressed country, the police will be corrupt and prone to committing murder when provoked.

As the old saying goes, "When in Rome, do like a Roman." To the Nigerian returnees from "overseas", who are always eager to display their bogus foreign accents and amusing pomposity, my advice when dealing with Nigerian policemen would be to tone that arrogance way down, pay them the demanded tithe, and thereby avoid wasted time or worse, getting wasted like bush meat over nothing of consequence.

The Nigerian Police Force keeps recruiting criminals and drugaddicts into the police force whereas they deny responsible men from being recruited.

Why doesn't he apply this same courage to challenge the root of the problem which is the corrupt leaders?
You are myopic if you think that corrupt leaders are the roots of any problem without asking yourself what is the cause of corrupt leaders. Ignorance in all our religious believes are the roots and foundation of the problem. i wish i can explain this in details but i am a lazy typist.
