Believe whatever the government tells you at your own peril. Instead of this rubbish admission of error by a non military personnel, the entire Nigerian military should be APOLOGIZING for misleading and misinforming Nigerians. In saner climes, this ‘error’ will have severe repercussions on everyone involved from top to bottom.

Nigerian Army And Police Are Full of Errors, Police Arrest Innocent Nigeria and Leave Them to Rot in Awaiting Trial , While Nigeria Military Will Kill a Terrorist Leader /Commander like 10 Times Before They Will eventually Kill Them By Mistake. Very Incompetent
The military don't even kill them by mistake, it's usually a rival terrorist group that does the killing

And you expect a government that's full of propaganda and lies and even doesn't have true records of what is happening in Nigeria to deliver good governance in the country? It's unfortunate to have these set of human beings in governing a nation like Nigeria.

lol. It is a fictional character then. The only logical explanatiin. A fictional character once used to scam Nigerians and now ressirected to sxam trump/usa. Explains why tinubu knew nothing about it until trump posted it and it went viral.

Nigerian Army would have total credit for the elimination of these deadly terrorists if US did not release the public statement.

When you see big grammars, you know there's a cover up.
This people are pathological liars, shameless to the core.
There's never a time they tell the truth.
I remember when some of my close colleagues (may their souls rest in perfect peace) where killed along side several police men.
The Nigeria police came out to claim 2 civilians and a police officer were killed, whilst I could literally name more than 7 person that were involved.
They can lie to the pit of h3ll.
Never belive all those rethoric news of "they sustained gun injury, fierce gun exchange, etc"
Liars in the leadership!!!

They are saying this now because Trump exposed there lies.

Since 2024 the tinubu government didn't say this till trump ordered for the ISIS terrorist leader living freely in Nigeria be eliminated.

I always pray for president Donald Trump because that man is the reason that we are still moving free in the south , the tinubu government woulda sacrificed the whole country for his selfish interest .

Let's kick APC out in 2027
See the long English grammar in order to cover shame

The government acknowledged the error. No one cares about the error in name except opposition. The facts remain that a terrorist was killed in 2024 and another terrorist was killed in 2026. Getting their names right is not the biggest deal especially with our obvious lack of national and population data since forever. Except maybe the terrorists came to register their bio data in your house.
The US of course have better intelligence and tabs, that's part of why we're cooperating together in the first instance.

If you had focused on proper governance instead of chasing Peter Obi around, you would not have dribbled yourselves with lies until the Americans exposed your cluelessness.

Look at the rubbish u are giving as excuse? And u think u are making sense? U are killing random people with no identity and some may not even be terrorist cos u dont have any or enough intelligence tabs. Where is the mistake acknoledgement? undecided

that means our intelligence is good but not good enough to identify who is who. This was what u said and implied that we do t have intelligence to identify exact targets hence we make errors and don't even know untill the US exposes it?

So we are actively misleading and lying to Nigerians.

You made that up or assumed. i said that we have a lack of national and population data since forever. In other words, it's nothing to politicize, it didn't start today. It's improving.
Most developed countries have registers, social security numbers, compulsory for everyone. They have good border control and know exactly how many people are coming in and going out. We're not exactly blessed with this. It'll take some miraculous census not tinged with tribal bias to even attempt something close.
When you leave online and go to actual work against criminals like these, you'd discover not everyone of them is wearing a name tag or having a valid passport in their pockets or hideouts. A terrorist might have been mistakenly identified with, or knowingly identified himself with a name as a decoy. Was he killed, yes. If you later through better intelligence discover the one with that name, what's the big error you're on about there. Do you think it's so easy to locate particular terrorists and kill like sitting ducks? Give credit where due, and constructive criticism, not continued fault finding. How does a terrorist death mislead you, are you a terrorist? One was wrongly named, the other probably rightly named. How many times did they 'kill' Shekau or some top terrorist. The main point is that terrorists are being decimated and paying for their crimes. Your sorrow is that the name of the terrorist must be spelled correctly. Na wa oh.

This long espistle is even more embarassing. U are talking like the US identified him in another country? When they identified him on same nigerian soil.

Also isnt it funny when it comes to esn and ipob or anybody who publishs damaging information about government officual whether true or false the government can identify their targets but when its bokoharam or bandits they start giving explaination about what happened in 1803? undecided

And u come to defend the embarrassnent with no shame? Error indeed. undecided
