BlocksNG:But you guys celebrate brewery business as the legacy of your Messiah. Airbus approached Nigeria that they want to setup shop here that will not only create employment but drastically reduce cost to local airlines who used to carry out their annual C-checks abroad. This will also see to skill transfer and empowerment of our technicians , transform moribund airport to be functioning . Being a proposed hub this investment will not only serve Nigeria's domestic airlines but also Africa and the ME. Do you know how much revenue and FX will be injected and generated from this Airbus proposal? Keep stocking shelves in your 2x4 lockup shop and leave business for people who understand real business and not trading. |

Leepeak:The arid north with large swaths of unpopulated areas would have been best place to site this hub as they also have many moribund aerodromes but insecurity has killed the north The only place I can see this hub being sited is either at the new Ogun state airport or the proposed Lekki airport. |

Oga Tinubu, go and do mass transit for your people. Do the one that will have a positive impact on the vast majority. Do the one that reflects the millions of votes you received, not the one that will benefit only the top 5 percent. Layout plans to connect all 36 states with modern rail services. Layout plans that will connect major industrial, extractive and agricultural zones to the seaports for international trade. Call all 36 governors now under your control and task them to start work on mass urban train and tram systems from the billions extra you have given them to ease the crushing burden of petroleum products prices going haywire. Tell your beloved son Wike that he should begin work on plans to link the key satellite towns of Kubwa, Gwagwalada and Nyanya to the city centre with the kind of tram systems they see when they travel out. For goodness sake it is the capital city of the biggest black nation on earth and in 2026 has no mass transit system. |

Wotowotoman:I think your post should be directed at you because you seem to be out of touch completely. I'm the happiest man today as you can see. My son studying Aeronautic Engineering told me last year that their school was planning to sign an agreement with Ethiopian Airlines for aircraft maintenance and practical training meaning, they'd be traveling to Addis Ababa like 3 times before completing their course for practicals and be spending up to 3 months each time. The cost was huge on us parents. Last yr, someone working with FAAN close to us said Airbus was coming but we never heard anything again so the school approached Airpeace. They're still on it till now because airspace wanted to build a maintenance hanger in Nigeria, which is still pending, Practicals are key in this course. With the airbus coming on board, even if the students would attend the ET maintenance training, it wont be more than once. The cost and risk of travels will also be reduced. |

This is a good thing for Nigeria and it's an evidence of trust in Tinubus policies and it will encourage all other big companies to come and invest in Nigeria |

Reading the comments is soo amazing, how people can’t appreciate good news for their country, because of their dislike for the president. It’s one thing to not be politically aligned to the president and then place pressure on the govt to realise this ambition of airbus by creating an enabling environment. It’s another to deride a private business looking to create jobs in your own country because you don’t like the government. |
| Re: Tinubu Welcomes Airbus Plan For Aircraft Maintenance Hub In Nigeria by FSBoperator: 11:37am On May 17 |
Oakenshield:President Bola Tinubu has welcomed a proposal by global aircraft manufacturer Airbus to establish aircraft maintenance and hangar facilities in Nigeria as part of efforts to position the country as a regional aerospace and aviation services hub. Read the above and tell us why Airbus who are discussing with the FG to open a hub in Nigeria will translate to FG lying. |

Commanding followership of 31 state Governors in Nigeria has never been done before in Nigeria. NOBODY IN YOUR LINEAGE will ever have the followership Asiwaju have. If there is anybody that has that following in your family, GIVE EVIDENCE. |
