That's because that claim is relatively new. It began this election season.

The claim about Jonathan and Ambode has been recurring since 2019.

In 2019 some said that Jonathan would run and some said that Ambode would defect and run.

Tenses:
If you think Jonathan contesting election is the idea of Nigeria youths then you are very naive.

This is the idea of old wicked men that have held this country captive since 1914.

They deliberately create poverty so that they can make these youths as a tool to push their wicked objectives.

If the youths are not lazy, then why are they allowing the old men to wickedly hold them captive for the past 112 years?

Do you think that is because the youths are even more wicked, tribalistic and selfish than the old men? Old men who fought oyinbo colonialists when they were young.

Youths who use tribalistic tactics to zone and rotate public offices in local, state and federal governments, as a way to unwittingly condone corruption.

The PDP has stated that Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is a registered member of the party and this means that he can only contest elections on the party's platform (the window to change parties has closed) and the window to purchase PDP presidential nomination forms has closed.

Mr Akinwunmi Ambode is a member of the APC and the window to purchase APC Lagos governorship nomination forms has closed.

I explained to this guy in 2022 that Dr. Jonathan was not contesting, but he was arguing with me.

Comments like the one you quoted usually question my continued stay here because I just wonder the age and IQ of people we are bantering with here.

The Fulanis understand politics far more than a lot of you. They can’t back Jonathan for any reason. The core element of Northern political elites just want power back to the north. If they can’t get it in 2027, they will only support Tinubu to get it and no one else.

Jonathan is a wounded snake with so much people to deal with if he ever gets back to power. He’s not an option at all. Beside, the core north alone cannot give him power. With Tinubu and Obi on the ballot, he can only win Bayelsa conveniently in the south since the PDP structure that supported him before is dead. So, head or tail, he’s going to lose. So, he’s better off respecting his age and staying far away from the contest.

Jonathan is not a wounded snake. He was a naive president and definitely deserves another shot. But not at this time.

That will be in 2031/2034 if he is still interested..but...he can definitely start grooming someone or some.guys.and placing them in strategic places in the nation ahead of then. Not like Obi who only has his name to rely on.

Can you imagine my audacity, I am giving my opinion on a thread on a Nairaland forum about something I have an opinion on?

Also I clearly prefaced my previous post by typing that I don't intend to defend naptu2, as he can do so himself more than I ever can, but I am stating my opinion on the needless attack on the post.

Also, not that it matters, but I believe this is the first time I am "defending" him since the last time that you showed how upset and emotional you were about him blocking you.

Just to confirm, I am only expressing my opinion, I have no favours to seek from him, neither do I ever need to patronise him.

The trolls don't really want to make sense, they just want my attention.

They are too boring for me, so I have blocked them, but some of them (like the first one on this thread) are so furious that they've created alternate accounts to try and interact with me.

That guy (it's a guy, not a woman) complains that my threads are useless, yet he can't stay away from them. He is so desperate to comment on my thread that he uses multiple accounts to comment on one thread.

Are you serious right now? So who is going to fight the war? Because in your scenario it's going to be Yoruba Vs All the rest of Nigeria. And not even all Yoruba support Tinubu, so I fail to see how this is going to lead to any war. Unless you mean that the Yoruba are going to see it as a betrayal and break away from Nigeria. Trust me if that happens then it's going to a very quick balkernisation of the country because Some other regions are waiting for that golden opportunity to pull out. The north is not going to fight on two fronts, besides they are not exactly as united as we're meant to believe, Tiv, idioma, and other minorities are not going to help them here. Everything will just scatter jeje. But I don't even think that this scenario is going to happen, but if it does, there's not going to be any war, just everyone going their separate way.

Hostility comes from someone being upset they were blocked which has resulted in them unleashing their venom with their various monikers on the thread.

They have no capacity for producing or partaking in quality educative threads, best they can do is troll which is why they were blocked in the first place.
