Nigeria lacks accurate and reliable data on many if not all things.

In Nigeria we don't have a simple metric for births and deaths, never mind population concentrations.

We don't have a proper data for wages and employment, we don't know how many people are in full employment and wages, the home ownership and property register is even disfunctional and you are here telling me about poverty index.

Most data in Nigeria is to be taken with a pinch of salt including this Tinubu government. What I can believe are the fiscal policies which are at an higher level. Everything else is just based on poor calculations.

According to INEC we have 93m registered voters but anyone that has ever subjected it to reasonable analysis would know that is impossible

I am from Edo and i reside here in Lagos.
Now tell me any reason why i should vote Tinubu in 2027 or why anyone should vote him in my community?
My community here use to experience a minimum of 15 hours light during Buhari
Now if u see 3 to 4hours per day, you will praise God despite paying over 100% increment
Now we cant also buy fuel for generator because fuel is beyond our reach at 1320 per liter when minimum wage is just 70k. Meaning we have been sleeping almost in darkness on a daily basis.

Lets not enter the economy part or the insecurity issues

Now with these, tell me as an Edo man in Lagos why i should vote Tinubu?

If you have this to say, I don't have anything else to argue with you. There's no data to reach a conclusion from your standpoint. You are only speaking from assumptions much earlier.

Just try to get the figure of barrels of oil produced in Nigeria added to the income from other internally generated revenue, placing it on one hand.

Then imagine government saying it no longer pay the difference that a litre of refined oil is sold for before subsidy removal on every litre consume in Nigeria, multiply by the numbers of barrels consumed per day after subsidy removal.

That's 1200-180 (multiply by how many liters of oil is consumed across Nigeria per day). That's to show you how much has been withheld into government purse, making this administration richer than any government before it through what it was able to save just by not spending.

The money so saved radically implies that government now have more money to spend, but the real question is, you now have more expenses to cover in place of the government support you have been enjoying.

Now what have you, as a citizen, benefited directly from the government in instant replacement for this tradeoff?

You are now going to be buying oil at the global market standard like any quoted commodity on the same market. Meanwhile, it was mined from your ground, your father's land. Thinking little or irrelevant doesn't change the fact.

Government has saved money, but a new expense has been shifted to you. But here's the thing, the government officials who propagate these laws get paid for the institutions that they head.

From where? From the government purse and globalists who pushes these agendas.

Then if they get paid, good income for that matter, what do you get paid for being a co-benefactor of the wealth accruing to the state due to its existence and your contributions to it's continual existence by being a law abiding, productive, responsible and resourceful citizen?

The state is far more richer than you, it can help you to actualize your dreams by either lifting part of your burdens or creating enabling environment for you to prosper.

But if the state will save more money, leading you to spend more and making getting more money for things that are not going to benefit you it's main priority, it's not having your best interest at heart.

Every Nigerian will never use the coaster highway, but every Nigerian will buy fuel at higher prices. That's good for international trade, bad for Nigerians who will pay more and spend more on expanding expenses on consumables, being a growing economy, it would have been better to invest in people.

If everything increases and your output does not, how will you survive? You are just a market where oil producing countries and other developed countries drop off their products and you must buy.

For balance of trade, what do you produce from the expensive fuel at advantage that the world is out to buy?

Then what narrative s are used to sell these wicked ideologies that it's good to get government more money while you pay more for survival on daily basis because it makes you a better politician?

You can't beat them at their game, but try to understand the game.
