Always one story or the other. All other oil producing nations are enjoying the fruits of higher prices of crude, our own has gone into stories as usual. If it is to increase products pump price, it becomes immediate with no story. If it is about taxes and payments by the citizens, no story, no ambiguity, But once it comes to benefit to the people, everything goes upside down.

So pathetic

Lithiumite:
You deliberately ignored the part that said Nigeria won't be seeing the benefits of the oil windfall until about the 3rd quarter this year as already pre arranged oil futures contracts are still underway and will at least take sometime.

You also deliberately missed the part that mentioned govt receivables from NNPC increased by about 4% for March yoy......many of you are only reactionaries and don't have the mental capacity to adequately comprehend issues to make informed opinions......Nigeria will surely be in trouble with your ilk in power.
You mean there were no futures contracts when same FG was getting more than they are getting now from oil

Can you point out where in the article your claim of 4% yoy for March is? Mr that read the article.

We can already see the trouble we are with your likes in power with rotten sawa becoming a delicacy

This means that although the Federation received the entire PSC distribution in 2026, the amount was only N4.63bn higher than the N175.42bn direct Federation share received in Q1 2025 when the old deduction framework was still in place.

So where is March there? Or you don't know the difference between a month and a quarter despite the detailed analysis in the article?
