We have been here since Friday. I am making this video to ask for help from everyone, starting with the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Oyo State Government — Engineer Seyi Makinde — the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and all well-meaning Nigerians.

They should come to our aid and settle these things peacefully so that our lives will not be lost.Thank you very much."

The South West must learn from the painful experiences of states that allowed insecurity to grow unchecked. Prevention is always cheaper than recovery.

After what happened in Kwara State, Oyo State must not wait until insecurity becomes deeply rooted before taking decisive action. The warning signs are already there, and delay can make the situation more difficult to control.
