You say the wives need young men but what can these wives offer the young men?
Most are broke, overweight with saggy skin, etcetera. Only desperate young men with low self esteem go for those types.

At least the married men take care of their sidechicks, give them money, open businesses for them.

Finding a well to do married woman who looks fresh and fit is harder than trying to empty the Atlantic ocean with a spoon.

Let's be honest, 90% of married women above 35 do not put efforts into their looks asides the usual wig and makeup. Without the wig and makeup they tend to look like grandmas.

Married men and women in Nigeria are rarely attractive due to work, pressure, societal expectations, stress, lifestyle changes, responsibilities, children, aging, etcetera but the married women have it worse because most do not have the money to sponsor side guys, and the money is necessary to compensate for their lack of physical attractiveness. Which is why many can't leave their marriages even when they know their husbands keep sidechicks.

I do not in anyway endorse adultery. Cheating is a despicable act regardless of gender.

A regular Nigerian man goes out everyday to hustle under the sun to put food on the table of an ungrateful woman, pay paytv subscription (which he hardly watch), pay children school fees, pay rent, support his in-laws and you think what he should be thinking of is how to look good like a gigolo.
The only thing most Nigerian men thinks of is of are bills because the society have designed a man to be a provider.
Only less than 10 percent (in my opinion) think about looking good because time no even dey for dat one.
