That is why I always correct those Ghanaians that I meet who use the word "Africa" when talking about their country to an oyinbo.

"This is how we do it in Africa," I correct it to "that is how you do it in Ghana."
Nigerians also make the same mistake, and I correct them immediately.

European countries have almost similar cultures, yet they never say, "I am going back to Europe." They will clearly say, "I am going back to France."

In nature actually the male of the species is usually more colorful. E.g peacock, domestic fowls, lizards, birds etc.
