Time to get her a wheelchair. The swelling on her head is a very bad sign. Her head must be scanned in a hospital to rule out intrnal bleeding that could get worse over time.

She fell and her head is swollen... don't be waiting and hoping the swelling will disappear. Swelling means something is wrong .... and her hitting her head may make the falling problem worse . Consider this below .... and bear in mind she is losing control over her balance.... take precautions.

The OP doesn't seem to care much about finding remedies to the predicament of that woman. All we see are reports of a deteriorating situation that hint at a complete emotional detachment, almost as though the OP couldn't be bothered even if the worst happens.

Your mom could be due for a hip replacement surgery, take her to an orthopedic hospital to check the condition of her hips, instability due to wear and tear over the years has reduced the elastic and robust properties of the cartilage in those hips thus it cannot sustain her weight anymore, so she would be prone to falls...

Whatever you do, don't take her to a chemist or one of these mushroom hospitals

Just be careful.
When i was 15 a friends dad fell down into mud in my street. I backed him home. 2 days later he slept and didn't wake up. He was well into his 80s

Corona period. A fellow landlord's wife slipped and fell in my street. I picked her up and assisted her home. That weekend she slept and didn't wake up too. She's in her 80s too.

Not saying anything would happen to your mum. But get proper treatment first. Adults falling down often the first sign something bad is about to happen.

Although you didn't tell us her age, health issues, weight, sugar, BP, bones condition, able or disabled, mental health, arthritis, sight condition, hypertension, smoothness of your road, is it in the night she fell or day? If its night do you have light? If day time, does she see well? Does she feed well? Hunger can make you fall. Does she take alcohol? Etc.

My mum fell just once, we did everything medically we could and that was it.

U guyz should consider giving her more more calcium....the turgidity of the bones in her body especially her left is fast wearing away...

She is falling cuz her bones HV become weak ND can't effectively carry her weight effortlessly...sh needs a walking aid like stick or a wheel chair...

But I prefer the stick...

She had stroke ? If yes, with the fall, it becomes a bleeding stroke ND are rarely survived

At Op, go register ur mom at any hospital's NHIS program....all adult should be registered...

Once ur 40 ND not registered, then u are on ur own... medical issues begin at 40

He was advised to take her to a hospital.... but seems not to take either her falling ...or her swollen head seriously. The quote from Google is not for self diagnosis since no treatment was offered. It was to let him see the th matter needs urgent medical attention.
