The All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby releases the list of Senatorial aspirants not cleared to participate in the Party’s Senate Primary Elections.

The screening exercise was conducted by the Party’s Screening Committees in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

The All Progressives Congress has made a u-turn on its earlier list of senatorial aspirants barred from its Senate primaries, removing five names, including that of former Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, in an updated version issued on Monday.

The updated list, signed by the National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, shortly after the first list was released on Monday, reduced the number of affected aspirants from 47 to 44, with no explanation offered for the deletions.

Morka said, “The All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby releases an updated list of Senatorial aspirants not cleared to participate in the Party’s Senate Primary Elections.

“The APC urges all stakeholders to uphold transparency, orderliness, and the integrity of the ongoing Primary Election process.”

He didn't retire from politics. His senatorial zone rotates senatorial seat amongst the LGAs that made it up. He withdrew to honour the agreement because he used the turn of his LGA. He's a perfect gentleman

Actually, you win some, you lose some. Politics and support doesn't have to always be about getting position or being on the table. If dem appoint the man as minister next year now, na you go still cry pass.

I don't expect Mr common sense to make a headway in a party that needs no sense to function. He should have known better

If Nigeria was working, Ben Murray-Bruce May not even venture into Politics. Because of his vast experience and knowledge in the entertainment industry.

But because Nigeria wasn't favouring people with great craft like that, He jumped into politics.
He Was the Senator who flooded our timelines with common sense narratives.
And buy Naija to grow the Naira.
But common sense couldn't tell him that bad system is responsible for the stagnacy in his entertainment field.

He's back again in APC after years in PDP. To run for the ticket of Senate.
Isn't it shameful that after all the years Mr Common Sense spent in the Red Chambers, he couldn't even upgrade to a higher office. Or even grow in the entertainment business?

His poor moves are influenced by the bad system and poverty. Yet he's involved in supporting the worst president ever in Nigeria. Instead of looking for ways that Nigeria can work so his SilverBird group can spread and evolve in the quality of products they offer.

He's busy responding to the Newspapers on the rumours about his APC disqualification.
Even if that was propaganda, then he should know that the insiders APC don't want him. Otherwise who leaked the news to the media?
