I don't argue with your kind
No one is arguing with you boy, am only educating you on the game of football. Pep only run to clubs with large squard and even with everything available at his disposal at Bayern, he could not play even UCL final in 3 Years

End of an era! 10 years, 20 trophies, greatest achievement in modern football! All the best to him with whatever he chooses to do next

I hope Man city will finally get penalised for the 115 charges levelled against them now that he's gone.
U add our premier league this season?

He did well then he started crumbling. Ferguson rebuilt his team multiple times and even won with kids. He doesn't have to replace a goalkeeper or full back multiple times with fat checkbook until it's right. That approach was not allowed at Bayern Munich and Pep couldn't weave any magic.

They are both great.

The best manager there ever was in premier league.

Pep

*Why Pep edges Fergie in the first 10 years*

Look at it straight up: *20 trophies in 10 years vs 6*. That’s not a small gap.

*1. He won more, and he won bigger*
Pep’s haul at City from 2016-2026:

*6 Premier Leagues,
1 Champions League,
5 League Cups,
3 FA Cups,
3 Community Shields,
1 UEFA Super Cup,
1 Club World Cup*.

That’s 4 titles in a row from 2021-2024 – no English club has ever done that. 100 points, 98 points, 93 points seasons. He didn’t just win, he broke the ceiling of what winning looks like in the PL.

Fergie in his first 10 years at United 1986-1996:
*3 PLs,
1 FA Cup,
1 League Cup,
1 Cup Winners’ Cup*.

Respect to the rebuild, but the output isn’t close.

*2. He did it in a tougher league*

Pep’s City had to beat peak Klopp Liverpool, this Arsenal team, and a Chelsea side spending crazy money just to get to May with the title. Every game in the PL now is a fight. Fergie’s early dominance came before the money flooded in and before every mid-table team had a tactical coach and data team.

*3. He changed the game, not just his club*
Go to any academy or watch any PL game now and you’ll see Pep’s fingerprints. Inverted fullbacks, controlled possession, pressing traps, false nines. Managers across Europe copied him because it worked. Fergie was a master man-manager and could adapt, but he didn’t set the tactical blueprint for the next 20 years.

*4. He delivered in Europe when it mattered*

City’s first ever Champions League in 2023, plus 6 straight semis in 10 years. The UCL now is a minefield – every knockout tie is against another billion-pound squad. Fergie didn’t even get to a UCL final in his first 10 years.

*5. He kept it going without falling off*
Pep rebuilt that City squad 3 times. KDB aging, Aguero leaving, Cancelo drama, still they win. The system outlives the players. Fergie’s first 10 years was about building the culture. Once it was built, the trophies came in waves. Pep had the waves immediately.

---

Fergie built United from the ground up and that deserves respect. But if we’re talking pure results, dominance, and impact on the game in the first 10 years, *Pep’s numbers and influence are on another level*.

20 trophies. 4 in a row. Changed how football is played. That’s the argument.

they'll most likely be made to pay a hefty fine so as not to risk losing heavy that Arab money that's coming in

Comparing fergie at the begining of his career to guardiola at his prime with more talents, resources and spending power is really wild. undecided

Nah... It's safe to say that the City Domination might now be officially OVER.

Let other serious clubs compete and win the title as well.

With proper signings and more work, Arsenal can win the title consecutively.

Pep is the greatest.
He is the Messi of managers.
Setting the records so high that people in the future will think it's AI
In Barcelona, he won 14 trophies in 4 years.
Then nonsense English fans said he can't do such in EPL
The Messi of managers came to Epl and turned it into farmers league by going treble twice and winning the Epl 4 times in a row

Apart from not winning the UCL in Bayern due to prime Real Madrid Ronaldo time, what else did he not win in Bayern? The guy is just a genius and he will fare well wherever he goes. This guy will get unknown average players and they will win leagues. Apart from Haaland, there are no world class players he got. They turn to world class when they play under him. That's a sign of ingenuity.

you are too matured to be thinking this way.
You must be a pessimist.
A wicked person who deny hardworking people their due.
At a time, man UTD and Chelsea spent billions and won nothing.

I'm a Pep fan but before he came City has already become regular top four contender. They've been going to the UCL 7 consecutive years before Pep arrived. 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, 2017 they have been marking register in the UCL.

People act like Pep only succeeds because of money and big squads, but managing star-filled teams is a challenge on its own. At Bayern he still dominated domestically, reached multiple UCL semifinals, and played some of the best football in Europe. Winning the Champions League isn’t guaranteed no matter how much talent you have — just ask PSG, Madrid’s Galácticos, or City before 2023.
