richmond500:Ferguson built United from scratch to make it a world force in his time, guardiola is the big money man who had the resources to get what he wanted, he won only 1 champions league despite all that money spent......he is good morning doubt but you running down fergie is an insult. |

Kalulu44:You forgot that Pep met a City that hasn't ever won the UCL before in their entire history and he gave them the UCL, unlike Fergie who met a United that has won a UCL before . |

The question are 1. How much did he spend on his team compared to Fergie? 2. How many players did he bring from academy to his first team and became main part of the serial winning compared to Fergie? Remove money from Pep and he's feather weight in England elder1002: |

I remember when he was in La Liga, Epl fans said 👉 "Even Barca can play without a coach and still win tittles, let him come to Epl nah.., When he was in Bundesliga, Epl fans also said 👉 German league is farmers league, only Bayern Munich dominate and win tittles he can't try such in English Premier League.Epl fans too dey talk cho-cho-cho 🙏God bless you 👍 Pep Guardiola for proven that you are one of the best Coach in the world who also turn Epl among the farmers league 🤣 |

elder1002:. One was rebuilding and one came after rebuilding gas been completed. You should have compared the coach that came during rebuilding if Man City not when the food was ready.ancity between 2010 to 2016 already had 2 premier league, 2 league cups, FA cups and were the dominant team in the premier League but Man U weren't champions they were a team for the FA. Another thing was the amount of money spent on players even the likes of blackburn and Newcastle outspent man u, the dude relied so much on home grown talents in his first 10 years unlike gauduola Man city , city was even known for buying 11 full squared members with their unlimited war chest. The impact of money in football can't be overemphasized, Even adjusted to inflation gaudiola spent over 2 billion euros and outspent Ferguson, yes gaudiola is a beautiful and excellent coach but their first ten years were in two different timelines with different variables to be considered. |

ARISHEM:Guardiola can't take the Madrid as a result of his close tie with Barcelona. At club level, he has reached the highest level at a pretty young age,I think he might be trying out a new challenge by taking a national team job. |

geoworldedu:Is that why he couldn't win it at Bayern bcus Bayern has won it before. For your information Red Star Belgrade, Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and co have all won the ucl before, but are they still big clubs. United won ucl in 1968 and went to relegation in 1973. How big can they be to have been relegated. They got promotion and became a shadow of themselves where Liverpool, Forest, Villa, and co has become the "olori oko" of the league. Not until Fergie came and vowed to bring back Man United to where it belongs which he did. He didn't only do that, he made Man United a global brand that only Barca and Madrid can compete with. Man United hasn't won the league for 13yrs now. Yet they're still at the top of one of the biggest brand and most followed clubs in the world. That's the work of Fergie. Even with Pep and City's present dominance, they're still far below Man United in terms followership and brand worldwide. . You said City hasn't won the ucl before Pep came, yes but they have been knocking on the door just like Chelsea did before eventually winning it. Before Pep came in 2016, City has been a constant Ucl appearance make since 2010. It's inevitable they'll win it one day which came under Pep. Just like I have been telling people that Arsenal too will surely win it one day which is not far away. PSG won their first last year, credit to Enrique. But it wasn't that last year they became a big club. They have been for over 10yrs and have been knocking on the ucl door. Enrique just like Pep will take the credit of being the first coach to win them the ucl but they aren't the ones who make the giants of Europe they're now. . Contrast all this to Fergie who came to a struggling United trying to even make top half of the league table and howfar he brought United, then you'll appreciate his genuis. Lastly, most of you think Fergie started his coaching career at United. Nope, Fergie took unheralded Aberdeen to break the Scottish league duopoly of Celtic and Rangers. By winning the league twice, he even won them the Uefa cup beating almighty Madrid in the final, that alone is an achievement Aberdeen hasn't got again till date. I doubt if Pep can manage a midtable team. So I will say it one more time, you guys should celebrate your Pep and leave Fergie out of it. |

richmond500:..maybe u think Ferguson was handed oil money to spend anyhow the way pep did.... Ferguson achievement is far way better than pep.... Compare the budget and revenue generated from both managers, compare players transmission to the top and then compare the league standard back then and now ...the fact is pep is a great coach by spending but Ferguson is totally a different thing who believe in rebuilding of players to the top. |

geoworldedu:Bayern can win their league without a Manager . Winning the league with Bayern, Celtic, PSG and the likes is always a guarantee. The person at the helm of affairs doesn't matter. That' why kompany got relegated at Burnley and , he's now a 2 time Champion in Germany. Pep will equally get relegated with a team like Burnley. No cap |

Lamasta:Stories. Man Utd was trash when Fergie took over in 1986. They were 11th or so on the table. I have tapes on the Fergie era in my family house. They went 26 long years without the league title. |
