What is soo special in the Joao Pedro when they have Igor, Cunha and Endrick who can play the striker role. Rayan is a right winger and has been very good for Bournemouth since coming in January.

Martinelli is more useful for a Brazilian WC squad going into a competition. While he isn’t technically gifted in dribbling, he plays with intensity, can play across that front 3 and helps defensively. He isn’t going to be a starter but he can solve numerous problems coming off the bench for the Selecao.

Also, there is no way a one legged Neymar will miss the WC. Call it whatever you want, he means more than football for this generation of Brazilian football. He still represents the purist identity of Brazilian football.
