The clip has heightened concerns over rising kidnapping cases in Edo State, with many residents claiming abductions are becoming frequent in the area.

Authorities had not issued an official statement on the video as of the time of reporting, while insecurity and recent anti-kidnapping operations continue to dominate discussions across Edo communities.

But Nigerians appear to be gradually becoming used to kidnapping and terrorism. Insecurity is mow being read in the newsline as if it is a normal or good occurrence. Yet, the government appears to be complicit in the whole menace. Look at the kidnapping and beheading of a school teacher in Oyo State and the federal government has not taken any bold step. I pity the individuals supporting this failed government that appears to be irresponsible.
