I feel like crying seeing how these innocent people are maltreated. Even if we assume that our government(state and federal) have failed and need to be voted out, why is the US not helping with intelligence here. How come the US cannot smoke out the bandits terrorising Nigeria and save our people from the hands of these MONSTERS.

Oga apc brought Fulanis from all over Africa to secure the 2015 election, abi what did you think buhari meant when he said something about the monkey and baboons being soaked in blood? Apc ie buhari insisted that fulani must have access to all forest to openly graze their animals, he spoke of hither to unknown colonial cattle routes. When activists in the south east and west decided to confront the excess of Fulanis inside the forest the military was unleashed on them. Do you remember all gun licenses owned by Nigerians were revoked by one northern IG under buhari, to ensure that citizens could not protect themselves from the insult of the bandits? Till date you cannot renew or get a gun license, what has the current government not called off the revocation?

You have to first give US permission to do that - which feels like admitting failure and handing over your sovereignty.
US will solve it in one week by arming the citizens like they have in US - which will open it's own kettle of worms!

The civilian government from 1999 till date has been the one cheering and enabling all this nonsense in the name of nonsense democracy which they themselves don't even practice. Look at where it has landed us today, the insecurity situation in the country is now beyond control and everyone is powerless and helpless towards the whole situation.

The good security situation from the 60s till 1999 was the only good thing benefiting the common man in Nigeria before, but today, nothing the common is benefiting from the country at all again, nothing. No wonder Gowon never wanted to hand over power back to civilian during the early military regime, because he knew nothing good can ever come out from a Nigerian politician. Sincerely, the military shouldn't have handed power back to this useless group of people called politicians, they have ended up damaging the country beyond repairs.

Yet they can't be located and taken out...but govt opps and critics are easily apprehended.

Our useless governor promise us insecurity right from campaign. What he said was never a coincidence, the people are witnessing it first hand now. Edo State is now overrun by terrorist and criminals and all the useless governor cares about is how to secure Edo State for Tinubu in 2027 election.
