Let me just go straight to the point. For Desmond to be defiance and disobeyed his once political godfather to step down. Then there's something up his sleeves. I pray it doesn't get to that, but with the look of things and how Desmond has been singing like a bird, it may not be long before he spill the real beans. . The whole brouhaha of Obasa's impeachment was first orchestrated by governor Sanwo Olu who felt being slight and undermine by Obasa. Sanwo Olu sponsored the state assembly with the help of Femi Gbajabiamila, who also sold to Desmond the ambition of becoming the speaker of the house. . But unknown to them President Tinubu won't take it. They thought if the deed was done the president will just play along and maybe reprimand them. But it backfired and the president makes sure Obasa was reinstated. Now comes who will be the fall guy. There was a face off between the president and Sanwo Olu during that period, but was later settled. Sanwo Olu didn't have anything to lose cus he's already on his 2nd term. Then it was Gbajabiamila's turn to be queried by the president, he vehemently denied having any involvement. But your boy Desmond was the Mastermind, how come you didn't know. Ok your excellency, I will resolve everything. . Gbaja to Desmond, I want you to go make a public announcement denying your involvement in the impeachment saga. But how can Desmond deny something his signature is fully aprehended. So he didn't and Gbaja felt undermine. Then nothing else to do than to throw Desmond under the bus. As it is now, Desmond Elliot is desperately trying hard to fight back. That's why he has been talking and talking off late. He even came out openly to deny Gbaja ever told him to make a public statement denying the impeachment saga. . If not that there's something giving him liver, how can he come out and say his one time boss didn't say what he said. Like I said earlier, today's the D day. It's 99% sure Desmond Elliot will lose, but will there be any more beans to spill after the loss. We await! |

Desmond should go and rest. His three terms has made him more than enough money than if he was still acting those amateur home video flicks. If he like let him run around spewing trash, as long as he loses the ticket today, he becomes irrelevant . |

He has fought a good fight, win or lose, he fought unlike ambode the coward . |

LagosOrigin:Your Ojukwu who dragged you into a senseless war, never fought at the front lines but was hiding in his rat bunker guzzling whiskey and having your grannies on rotation. At the end, he fled . |

Someone that should just accept the verdict of the establishment that made him before they unravel him. Anyways, it's good he fights while standing. Maybe he can hostage his master. |

LagosOrigin:Desmond has never fought for anything. His godfather ensured he got the ticket and from there win his election into the state assembly. This has been what he has been enjoying under the influence of his godfather and APC banner. Now those that ensured you are where you are want you to step down for others and you refused. They are even indulging you to contest instead of ensuring you are expelled from their party . Instead to salvage what he can from the mess he found himself, he is doubling down . This is someone who could have reconciled with the powerful forces in the APC and maybe in future they will accommodate him with an appointment. |

Didn't Ambode also take part in the primary? So what has he done that Ambode did not do. Seems you all have decided to make the man the S.I unit of cowardly acts. LagosOrigin: |

Except he's acting a script, he does not going about this properly. Obviously he has his eyes on the top job in the Assembly but that should not make him forget how he got there. The system made him, the system can unravel him, and he'd be worst off. After the primaries he's sure to lose, I hope he has a plan to get back into the fold again. DomPerignon: |
