Gbajabiamila: 'I Told Him It Would Be Very Cowardly Of Me To Leave A Group Of 37 People' - Elliot

Honourable Desmond Elliot, a lawmaker from Lagos State, has come clean about his role in the impeachment notice against Speaker Mudashiru Obasa. Elliot told Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila that it would have been courageous to stand by the 37 colleagues who had already signed the notice.


In an interview with Channels TV, Elliot discussed the situation, explaining that he had warned the other person that it would be extremely courageous of him to lead a group of 37 people across the river without their support. You know, the president himself has declared that this issue is now moot. I find it strange that my leader is bringing this up now, given the current climate.


The congressman for Surulere 1 made it clear that he still holds Gbajabiamila in high regard, calling him a leader whose advice he has always sought, especially when it came to important House issues and choices.

As far as Lagos APC politics is concerned it's too late for him. There's a reason APC is stronger than other parties and that's discipline.
