Foreign nationals seek refuge at Durban Police Station https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MXRxJF8HJI?si=y2h-dq-khzhcT0kL Durban's central business district has once again become a flashpoint of unrest, as foreign nationals camped outside the Durban Central Police Station demanding protection amid fears for their safety. Hundreds of foreign nationals sought refuge from what they described as persistent threats and intimidation tactics from local groups, turning the pavements around the police station into a temporary sanctuary. However, when police attempted to disperse the gathering, the crowd resisted, tensions escalated, and officers responded with teargas and rubber bullets. Shot foreign national interviewed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyoXQ2GEUP0?si=7asYsQ7Z_EQXSejG Eric Jean Butoki, a representative of the Southern Africa Refugee Organisations Forum (SAROF), spoke to the Daily News on behalf of the group and outlined the appeal they made to SAPS. “We sought assistance from the police, only to be attacked by them,” Butoki said, voicing fears that the group had nowhere safe to go as those expected to protect them had instead caused further anxiety. Butoki said they approached the police because threats against foreign nationals had reached alarming levels. 3 shot and wounded outside police station https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu5rd2KWask?si=J4Zvlzbv_8Sqq0jw Among the crowd gathered outside the police station was a Ghanaian national known as “Princess”, who also spoke about the plight of foreign nationals in Durban. “We can't live in our houses. We are threatened daily and called names. This is just not fair,” she said. Princess said their situation felt hopeless and suggested that their last resort would be to engage with the United Nations in search of shelter and support. Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, leader of the anti-immigration March and March movement, criticised the government's handling of the situation, describing it as ineffective. She said the uncertainty surrounding immigration issues stemmed from policymakers’ lack of decisiveness and failure to address the legitimate concerns of South Africans. “Our leaders seem overwhelmed by external pressures while ignoring pressing domestic issues.” Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmakvDqnnV0?si=eUrOwyiwl48vgxaM Ngobese-Zuma said her perspective resonated with the growing sentiment among many locals who felt their needs were being overlooked in favour of accommodating foreign nationals. She referred to the challenges South Africans faced regarding unlawful immigration and the impact it was allegedly having on the well-being of local communities, adding that the government needed to take responsibility for the growing number of illegal migrants entering the country. “How can we allow outsiders to dictate the agenda within our borders?” she asked.

I wonder what South Africa offers that can’t be found elsewhere. Return to your countries. Let’s see how the blacks there will survive without migrants. What happened to embassies? Those places are meant to house nationals and repatriate them for safety. |

eepeepook:Are you for real? What can you do that we can't? Stop over-inflating your importance, Your countries are barely surviving with you in them..be activists in your own countries |

eepeepook:Working hospitals, working schools, stable power supply, safe drinking water in the taps, wide reaching stable internet, and a host of things. Issue is they never paid for them and the foreigners drain the rescoures. If the foreigners leave it will relief pressure on these systems. |

Don’t forget to chase away the Dutch while at it. Oh wait, they were the ones to create the establishments and continuously maintain them. ROFLMAO. andrewza: |

We can slave in four jobs without complaint. Let’s see your people do the same. We also create businesses in townships and hire your lazy citizens. Let’s see them continue our legacy when we’re gone. IronGalaxy: |

eepeepook:There not any real major movement against white people. Since as you said they pay there taxes. But it does not change that migrant in south Africa tax these systems and dont contribute to them. The claim migrant workers are hard workers is not true. They cheaper yes and often do anything but they dont actually work harder. A forginer will happily do a job for me if I give him 500 rand even if the job should pay more. That's not working hard that letting your self be ripped off because you dont know better and or you desperate. |

eepeepook:So in your head 40 million black South Africans don't create or maintain anything? How realistic is that or are you just in denial or jealous? It's definitely both. |

Thus why they will always be picked by most employers. The problem is between the ears of the average black South African. andrewza: |

eepeepook:Hardly most companies dont employ foreigners. Cash business do sure but they are breaking the law. These companies should be published to. If a trucking company hires illegal workers to drive trucks for half the price and they crash the truck then that company owner should go to jail in my opinion Personally only business I see with non south Africa by me are corner shops and drivers. The actual companies, malls, factories, banks extra are south Africans. If all the corner shops by me vanished it would not make it harder to get any thing since the pic n psy is cheaper than the corner shop in any case. Sure some business employ foreigners but these are experts and have work visas. Most foreigners in south Africa are illegal or are here on Visas that dont allow them to work or run business so are breaking the law. |

andrewza:…and then you go on to prove yourself wrong. Cash business do sure but they are breaking the law. These companies should be published to. If a trucking company hires illegal workers to drive trucks for half the price and they crash the truck then that company owner should go to jail in my opinionYour opinion is not reality. Those companies will always find loopholes to absolve all guilt. Active labour makes economies grow, not sitting to wait for jobs. Personally only business I see with non south Africa by me are corner shops and drivers. The actual companies, malls, factories, banks extra are south Africans. If all the corner shops by me vanished it would not make it harder to get any thing since the pic n psy is cheaper than the corner shop in any case.If everybody found it convenient to go to pick and pays, those corner shops would not exist. Sure some business employ foreigners but these are experts and have work visas. Most foreigners in south Africa are illegal or are here on Visas that dont allow them to work or run business so are breaking the law.The law should handle the matter, not Thaba and Tebogho on the street. Whenever those two take action, everyone suffers. South Africans are labeled as xenophobic from all the news we read concerning sentiments towards foreigners. My God, your age and lack of real-world experience is evident in your replies. |

eepeepook:Hardly i just pointed out they work for themselfs or as drivers for uber and other GiG companies. They not being hired other than by other forghners. A major company won't hire an illegal worker other than in a cash payment, such as wiater. I was a waiter and it not like locals dont want to work there. Just that forgners can be exploited and wont complain since if they do they just get fired. eepeepook:Do you know what a loophole is? It when you find a way to get arround a obstical but not break a rule. Example firgners where exploiting a loophole that said if you have a pending asylum case, you can not be deported. So they would apply be reject and then just apply again and keep applying. That's a loophole one that was closed. There is no loophole to employ illegal immigrants. If you hire illegal immigrants you break the law and should be punished eepeepook:Yes, that's why they call them convenience stores. They cost more than the Large shops, have worse products and are just worse off. They only get customers because conveniences. eepeepook:Have i said otherwise? I dont agree with mob justice in any country but i under stand where the people come from. They see that servers get worse and crime goes up when illegal immigrants move in. They put two and two together. They see that the government is not working on it so they act. Most of the demonstrations have just been people marching, demanding action. Funny enough, locals are complaining that the police are not doing there job and the foreigners are complaining about the same thing. eepeepook:Show an example? |

eepeepook:The increase is because South Africa is a better place to live than the Countries they come from. This is why Countries like Botswana, Namibia, and Rwanda are not flooding here. Not because they wanted |
