Send him to Canada if you’re sure he’s not wayward or easily influenced. Businesses in Nigeria are uncertain |

No emotional answers. Be selfish. Get returns from your business and if there's surplus, invest it in anyone else. Emotional response. You are IyaTola and that means a lot. You don't owe anyone anything but this is Africa. We look after each other. Send him to Canada and put it in writing to avoid stories that touch on why you are doing it and don't expect anything from him. I don't want you to see your brother as a business decision because now you have two options. You can start regretting tomorrow that the money you wanted to use for business, you gave it to your brother, then you start to call him ungrateful and put pressure on him in Canada, a new land that takes time but in the long run, he will not disturb you for life again because you have set him free. Read what I wrote here on giving this morning 👇 SixSeven:Spending money is an emotional decision, be sure you are in the right frame of mind before taking any of the decisions then go with it and don't look back . Next time, don't use AI to write to us, take us seriously ![]()

If u want to help your sibling just ask him what he want ,if he want to travel or do business here It should be his decision, so that tomorrow if he didn't use the funds wisely ...he won't disturb you or blame you for his own shortcomings |

I collected loan to send my brother wey beg me, beg me tire make I send am abroad say e go make me proud. Its over 7 years now, na so so story e dey give me. Things hard, e no easy for here... bla bla bla. You better invest your hard earn money to start a business (import and export of any goods). You will have the opportunity to monitor his progress, track his business and advise him. Even if it goes wrong, at least you can understand. But abroad, Nah. ![]() |

With 15m, you can do both. If your brother has a Master degree, he should apply for Express Entry and save cost. Study route is unnecessarily expensive. With 2m (aside proof of fund), he will apply for Canada EE. |

LordBiden:If he can not find his way from cold to a decent life in Canada. The chances of him turing the money into successful business in Nigeria is very low |
| Re: Decision: Send My Brother To Canada Or Invest In Business In Nigeria? by Kavod: 7:58pm On May 21 |
IyaTola:Do your mind..... Because it's easier to get back up when it was your decision than when you asked strangers.. if your brother do you well that means na correct guy but if e mess you up then na bad judgement. |

SixSeven:Oga life does not work that way, no one is an island, only an ingrate will say they owe no one. |
| Re: Decision: Send My Brother To Canada Or Invest In Business In Nigeria? by AbelAbdul: 8:01pm On May 21 |
IyaTola:15m cannot relocate anyone to Canada. |
| Re: Decision: Send My Brother To Canada Or Invest In Business In Nigeria? by SixSeven: 8:03pm On May 21 |
nedekid:You owe no one. There's nothing like ingrate. You came to life differently. It's entitlement that makes people think someone else has to do something for them. No one owes you anything, the earlier you learn that and know that, the easier for you to not be disappointed in this life. In fact, it will make you appreciate what you take for granted because an ingrate is not usually grateful for what they get for free. https://www.tiktok.com/video/7450631229659172142 Are we not seeing first borns now complaining that they are bearing responsibilities or regretting that they could have spent that money on themselves but gave it back and it never stops? Be real. Our society is communal and all of that but people take that association for granted but if you die today, they will find a way to live without you. That should tell you a lot. You are not indepsensable. Life can and will move on with or without you. https://www.tiktok.com/video/7159349897223851310

IyaTola:Please note that abroad does not mean automatic success.. Again a lot of students who goes to Canada ofteb fail to secure PR Secondly 15m can't take u to Canada through school except scholarship or express entry.... if u still want education rout then he should plan well. Get a course in Health care field that will give him an edge to secure job after study then he can apply for PR using Canada experience etc as this will boost his score. But be again 15m can't run this as he might pay his fees from Nigeria, pay his rent from Nigeria. I have seen people not getting work for up to a year in Canada |

IyaTola:I will tell u categorically that's it's just a gamble Either way u do it, it's a gamble but I will advise u based on d following What's your relationship with your brother? Hope he's the serious type n ready to hustle through storms to make it? If yes Hope he's not obsessed with women because when he starts getting into relationship he might change n place d lady over u all in the name of building his own family? If u are sending him abroad, just see it as if u are doing it for God n not expecting a possible return (though he might do u well but don't put your hope on it) On the other hand, doing business in Nigeria is really not guaranteed because the economy is shaky and right now it's a 50-50 chance. So it's based on your instinct to judge whatever u want to do As for sending your brother abroad, check past events n try to access who he is n d kind of person he is based on past dealings n how he handles things. As for investing in Nigeria, check your area of strength n check if u can manage n supervise it to yield results |
