You’re tear bits of everything and just throwing it everywhere. It’s hard to follow your point. We First off, I am surprised that you as a Nigerian would pursue such a reverberated arguement. Samantha informs on “Nigerians” in SA activities. Based on the consistent pattern. It is generalized as who Nigerians are. If anyone enters a country illegally, he is not covered by the LAW of that country. If Society immediately deem you Thief regardless, by Law it is Justified. NO Legal ID etc. you just found yourself in a country, and you just want to integrate yourself like you just moved from the Bext street. Frankly, Samantha’s point to you is, If I may extend is, whatever stories you hear from Nigeria, may likely not to be entirely true. Especially when a South African listen to we describe it. And Samantha, this goes to you as well, Nigerians in South Africa do not represent the true character of Nigerians here. Here is why, once integrated into South Africa’s settings, they react to your economic and factors. They have to adapt and in doing so, some have to become the worst version of themselves in order to implicitly integrate themselves. Survival is a hard game. And likely, anyone could submit to the beast. Brendaniel: |

Many people who learned Hausa found it easy. Ironically, there great local technicians in the North. They just need books. Not necessarily in English language. Hausa(physics etc). That would allow some groups in the north not to perceive pursuits of knowledge as BOKO haram. Major population in the North Engage with their local languages. However, the Language itself isn’t developed lawani: |

jidesp:Yes any language is easy if you want to learn but the Yoruba have no reason to learn Hausa. They would rather be teaching another language in their schools that is more in use. The Yoruba surpass the Hausa in population in Nigeria |

jidesp:So are you saying it is lawful for a citizen in SA to kill an illegal immigrant and Scot free because the illegal immigrant is not covered by the law? Are you listening to yourself? |

Show me evidence of people being lynched for being illegals? lawani: |

Must I keep telling you to answer my questions? Because now this is getting me pissed. Brendaniel: |

Samantha125:So your answer is yes, I just want you to be explicit with it... |

I don't see anyone getting lynched... Like I said, show me evidence of people getting lynched for being illegals. lawani: |

Samantha125:I've answered your question na https://www.nairaland.com/post/139473122 |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Samantha125(f): 7:23am On May 21 |
No, you haven't... I asked if you can provide me with evidence of your legit and law abiding brothers who were unalived by the alleged "xenophobic attacks"? Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by lawani(m): 7:29am On May 21 |
Samantha125:People were beaten to death by security forces. Some people were shot to death by masked men. A taxi driver was killed in the same way. The ones done by security forces can't be excused but you are saying the other ones were random crimes that could have happened to anyone? You may be right but the reality is that there is xenophobia in South Africa that needs to be managed. Manage the people working in your economy or deport them without harming them. |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Brendaniel: 7:44am On May 21 |
Samantha125:That's why I am asking you based on your question, are you justifying the killings of illegitimate and non-law abiding immigrants by your people? |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Samantha125(f): 7:55am On May 21 |
How come other African nations are living peacefully here in SA and you'll never see them complaining about the alleged xenophobia? And does anyone care about the many SA innocent lives that were either destroyed or taken by illegal migrants? lawani: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Samantha125(f): 7:56am On May 21 |
Answer my question first. Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by jidesp(op): 8:03am On May 21 |
Here is where I find your questions surprising. The fact that you’re asking such a question simply means you still don’t comprehend the context. And, the opportunity to have a conversation with a South African, you simply want to spring all the issues of that country through one person here. I never justified Killing of illegal Immigrant. However, their status is “Void Ab Initio” - their status is void from the beginning. They may be exposed to all sort of treatments included police pressure. I won’t indulge you if your next question is not related to the Topic. Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by jidesp(op): 8:06am On May 21 |
You are just saying the same thing without moving forward. She answered this your question over and over again. Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Brendaniel: 9:05am On May 21 |
jidesp:So she is is saying that is right to kill illegal immigrants? Yes or no? Answer the question straight... |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Brendaniel: 9:13am On May 21 |
jidesp:You are the one having comprehension issues here, I have clearly stated my points over and over, that I am not supporting any illegality, and I that is what I expect every person to do, both Nigerians and South Africans, don't condemn one and justify the other for any reason like she is doing, nobody should be given jungle justice for being illegal in a country, my point is let us be civilized and treat each other as human beings, let the law of the country take its course, because people most times use jungle justice as an avenue to pour their personal issues on the victims... So let's be condemning both, is that too hard for you people to comprehend? |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Samantha125(f): 9:19am On May 21 |
What's stopping you from answering my question straight as well? Because all it requires is also a simple YES or NO, then you'll get all the answers to your questions afterwards. Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Brendaniel: 9:19am On May 21 |
Samantha125:Ok, the answer is none, so are you saying those that were killed by xenophobic jungle justice attacks deserved it because they were illegal immigrants or illegitimate ? |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Samantha125(f): 9:36am On May 21 |
Provide me with evidence of your people being unalived unprovoked by "xenophobic jungle justice attacks" for merely being illegal immigrants and not in anyway involved in any illegal dealings. Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Brendaniel: 9:39am On May 21 |
Samantha125:I have told you there is no evidence, I have no evidence, so answer my own question, are you saying those that were killed by xenophobic jungle justice attacks deserved it because they were illegal immigrants or illegitimate ? |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Samantha125(f): 9:50am On May 21 |
And I'm asking you to provide me with evidence of illegal immigrats being killed unprovoked for merely being illegal and not in anyway involved in any illegal dealings. Because without any evidence, then it means the information is just nothing but a lie that was fabricated against us in order to make us look bad for being patriotic and wanting to do what is right by our people. So until you have evidence to support your claims, this discussion is over because I don't have the energy to be entertaining speculations. Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Brendaniel: 10:04am On May 21 |
Samantha125:Ok there is no evidence too, so are you saying that those involved in illegal dealings deserved to die by xenophobic attacks by the hands of your people? |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Samantha125(f): 10:09am On May 21 |
This discussion is over. Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Brendaniel: 10:20am On May 21 |
Samantha125:So you cannot answer my question after I answered all your questions, and yet you said you will answer mine when I answer yours... |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Samantha125(f): 10:21am On May 21 |
Provide me with evidence first. Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Brendaniel: 10:26am On May 21 |
Samantha125:I have told you there is no evidence, so for a second, let us assume you are right since I can't provide any evidence that those being killed by your people did not commit, so let us both assume for a second that they all committed offenses in SA, my question, are you saying that they deserved to die by xenophobic attacks through the hands of your people? |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Samantha125(f): 10:28am On May 21 |
And have told you that without evidence, the discussion is over. Bye. Brendaniel: |
| Re: The Quiet Erasure Of Nigerian Indigenous Languages by Brendaniel: 10:31am On May 21 |
Samantha125:So since there is no evidence, you want to force me to make one, I have told you there is no evidence, I have searched there is no evidence, what then do you want me to do? |
