Half of una weh de insult am na so una be with money low key. If nigerian de insult government go just de look their mouth. Average many can support yahoo and find justification. The girls can do runs and find justification. The other half are serious gamblers. Yet they believe if they handle money they will be fair.

Just so you know: Mudashiru Obasa has been in the Lagos State House of Assembly for 23 years, and now he wants to go for federal representation.

Desmond stepped on the Nigeria youth toes, that’s why. They really fought to get him out of office in the last election but APC power was too strong and they kept him there but God intervain and heard the voice and pain of the youth

What is happening to over 140 workers at Federal Polytechnic Offa through the Polytechnic Consult scheme deserves national attention.

Qualified graduates and professionals are allegedly being used as cheap labour while proper federal employment opportunities are being reserved for connected individuals and relatives.

1. Many competent staff members working under the Polytechnic Consult arrangement reportedly earn just ₦30,000 monthly in 2026 Nigeria — despite the national minimum wage being ₦70,000.

2. Salaries are also allegedly delayed for weeks. A worker’s May salary may not arrive until around June 18–20. How are people expected to survive, feed families, transport themselves, and remain productive under these conditions?

3. These workers carry out essential academic and administrative responsibilities that keep the institution functioning, yet they reportedly remain underpaid, insecure, and excluded from proper federal appointments.

4. The alleged system appears designed to exploit competent people temporarily while influential individuals secure permanent opportunities for their own preferred candidates.

5. This is not just unfair — it raises serious labour, ethical, and accountability concerns.

I am still trying to find out what Desmond did wrong other than saying no to imposition and intimadation. Nigeria will not develop with this kind of politics. Only Baba sope kind of politics would not bring developments.

I’ve never been a fan of Elliot. But we must learn to be fair to people even if we don’t like their line of thoughts.

Elliot was thrown under the bus and used as a sacrificial lamb….And he couldn’t have avoided it.

The brazen authority the house members used in impeaching Obasa showed they got a go ahead from a top shot within the presidency. The top shot assured them through Elliot that overall Bigman is fully in support of the impeachment.

I guess Obasa was close to our Top Lady and ran to her, she in turn went and pleaded with our main Oga to call Elliot and his gang to order. Those ones thought the warning was a joke and continued. By the time they found out it wasn’t a joke, it was already too late.

They were all “forgiven” except Elliot who was visibly angry about the betrayal. “You told me to carry out an action and then turned around to ask me to issue a public apology for a message you sent me?

He felt so betrayed that he wanted to take his own pound of flesh by challenging the Lagos establishment.

And to do this, he insisted on contesting for primaries even when he knew he was going to fail. All his actions since after the impeachment saga up until yesterday’s primary was carefully planned.

He didn’t understand why only him out of all the house members who planned the impeachment was singled out.

He’s damming the consequences.

He just got to practice democracy, that is to engage and entreat and consult and depend on the people as at the very end of his political sojourn.

He just got to the nuance of democracy that it is about the people and for the people. So the next question is. What has he been practicing for the past 12 years.... the answer lies in inferring the OP's posit.

- He cared little about the people.
- He worked against their interests.
- He barely tolerated them.... Why.

Because his power, his authority did not come from them. It cam from above. He was perfectly vertically integrated. But once that link was cut he realized too late the need for horizontal stability.

The lesson is evident to all. There is a clear line, a clear distinction between the 'ruling class' and the people, a clear master-servant relationship that is called democracy in those parts.

And like I said yesterday, the incumbent should be as wary as whoever Wike installs as next Rivers governor. You simply will not be allowed to become popular by serving the people rightly. If you do they (and you know them) will see you as a threat to their hegemony and you will be removed so as to preserve the laws of power.

That's actually the main issue, not injustice. If he was doing well, everyone would support him to continue. Another problem may be holding one position for too long. He wasn't growing, but just sitting there to squander money.
