Ogbomosho Terror Attack: Governors ,Traditional Rulers Should Be Blamed not FG by Biodun556(op): 9:23am On May 21
Late governor Rotimi Akeredolu did well by establishing local security outfit called Amotekun. After his death, other South West governors do not attach much seriousness to it or bring up similar one.

The terrorists are receiving much hit from the military in the north east and north west like never before, it is not surprising that the terrorists are moving down South as escape route, a reasonable governor should make enough preparation. For example, they entered niger state, next is kwara state, next , Oyo state I e Ogbomosho, now Ibadan and any other place in Ogun state may be the next target. These are geographically contiguous states.

South West traditional rulers buried themselves in supremacy battle, they don't even have time to come together and speak with one voice.

Governors should assist FG with their security votes and assume responsibility as the Chief security officers of their states.

You forgot to mention those who invited Gumi the terrorist spokesperson to Oyo state. Gumi who was even rejected in Saudi Arabia was the one they could invite.

You can imagine the state has no helicopters, no drones , nothing.
Yet they take huge fund every month as security vote.

They are also aware of the presence of these people in the forest but wouldn't want to offend their masters in the One Nigeria project.

The traditional rulers may be complicit but trust me, the bulk of the blame lies with the state government.

Another disappointing state is Ogun State. Always reactive instead of being proactive. By now , the forests should be on constant surveillance with drones to forestall such incident.

Gumi was never invited to ondo before the terrorists struck there. Gumi invitation has nothing to do.

Although, those who invited Gumi were not sensitive enough. They should know that Gumi will smear their names .

They know that these terrorists are around and people have been raising alarms for years. The governors are not borderd because they know that people will always hold FG accountable

We have a useless governors all over Nigeria, what are they doing with the huge Revenue from federal government plus the security vote they get every month. Security is local and it can only be perfect if the state and local government can find best mean of securing people in the locals.

Name military equipment purchased by Jonathan govts

The terrorists were fighting soldiers holding ak47 under Jonathan. We can see Nigerian Air Force in collaboration with US bombing the terrorists site that have never been touched before.

No the blame goes to the councilors who failed to police their respective wards, let it be so since everybody don craze for here so let keep pushing the blames and make it go round while shielding the real culprit (FG) because he must be exonerated by all means as election is around the corner afterall he is not GEJ nor the case of sambisa girls.

NO return ticket to those councilors and bare plus the people of that community join.

If he was never invited and killing were going on in a particular place, common sense should tell you people that such a man should not be the one to be invited. I know what you can say because of religion. I have been watching you since 7th of October 2023.

You have forgotten all those that hated Oba of Ogbomosho for being a christian obas and have been looking for means to pay him back. You can't trust them if they seize the opportunity of the insecurity moment to start from Ogbomosho

Sycophants and wicked hypocrites have started again. So the buck no longer stops at the president's table again ? Thank God for actions, consequences and tons of documented evidence that you guys were warned but if I say you shouldn't come and gaslight us again, you'll start acting silly.

Ps; why did other SW APC governors refuse to follow Akeredolu's footsteps ? Una no well at all

You think we have forgotten.
