Professor Ishaq Oloyede is one of Nigeria’s finest public sector reformers. I have followed his performance since his days at the University of Ilorin where the culture of uninterrupted academic sessions became firmly established under his leadership despite the era of strikes and prolonged academic disruptions in many universities.

He also transformed Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board with discipline, transparency, and operational efficiency.

Nigeria needs more competent reformers like him in bigger and more challenging national assignments. I strongly believe that even in a difficult sector like power, he would still deliver measurable results.

My own ish is that most people with this kind CV will rather stay back in UK,US or Canada. How inn collect all the degree finish for UK com dey work for OAU get as e be. I'm he is probably still on fellowship with foreign universities

Seeing his computer-related credentials and his age, I am really optimistic that JAMB UTME will become better known for high efficiency and not its huge revenue, most of which is made from its resitting students.

Wow! How time flies… He was a Lecturer I at Obafemi Awolowo University when I started my PhD in the same university. I always knew his eyes were more on political positions than academics 😃😃😃. Connections are good sha. Congrats to him.

Stop this narrative please. Oloyede had played his part. His tenure was renewed after spending five years and now completes his ten full years in office. So he has to go by default.
Don't bring religious issue here if not one will think this man too maybe from RCCG as usual.
