Governor Soludo Reads Riot Act To Traders Who Refuse To Open Shops On Mondays by fergie001(mod): 9:55pm On May 21
Traders in Anambra must now inform market executive and state reasons before closing their shops on any market day"
Any trader who refuses to open their shop on Monday and it gets sealed will pay ₦20 million. if you unseal it yourself, you are liable to pay another ₦20 million, making it ₦40 million. We need money and if you decide for whatever reason you will not be opening your shop on Mondays, that's also good, no problem. If you hurriedly want to unseal it and you don't want to start going to court, you can come to us and we do a plea bargain which must be in the range of ₦5 million to ₦10 million. The reason we are focused on the markets is that Commerce is the dominant sector of our economy and we will not let anyone cripple it. Nobody should claim ignorance, ignorance is no excuse in the court of the law.

Soludo is going about this the wrong way. One,it is not by force to open one's business. I can decide not to be opening on Mondays for personal reason/s. 2ndly,if they open and there're no buyers, there'll be no bizness.
Soludo should just keep quiet let the sitathome die naturally

What is wrong with this man. Is it by force to open shop. If I choose not to open my shop on Monday or any other day, how is it his business?

Obi will be quiet on this as usual.
But let this be the situation in the North or SW, the Agulu Conman will start seeking cheap attention.

Chukwuma soludo is the Bola Tinubu of the east, both empty and lack good ideas, soon he'll blame the traders not opening their shops on Monday as the reason he failed to deliver on his promises

I don't know about others but personally I don't joke with Mondays. Even when I used to be a keke rider,I don't joke with it,and I see it as a day that determines how the rest of the week will be. So anyone who feels or deem it fit to lock himself up on every Monday, well,I don't have anything to say to such a person.
No body has any right whatsoever to tell a citizen when to open their shops for business.
If the traders have any brain matter they should sue the governor to court for infringement on their rights.
