Counterigbolies:He should resign then if he cant tackle the people and expose them and send them to jail... or will Nigerians continue to get kidnapped until when? Will he say the same thing if his kids get kidnapped by these terrorits and bandits who have dealt with Nigerians? or will u say same thing if ur own child gets kidnapped by these terrorits and bandits who have dealt with Nigerians? imagine a 3 year old getting kidnapped by these terrorits and bandits who have dealt with Nigerians |

Excuses are the defense of the incompetent!!! It was very easy for him and his twin (buhari) to complain about the previous government, saying all sort of unprintable things, when they entered, it became one phantom enemy to the other that was thwarting their efforts!!! Very shameless behaviour, not unexpected sha from individuals lacking integrity |

Counterigbolies:It's even honorable to resign in this case? If he can't revamp the economy and still can't guarantee safety of human lives and properties, why is he holding on to power |

Counterigbolies:Eventually you will have a taste of grief under another political dispensation when your own person will not be in power someday. Surely, you would remember someone told you this on nairaland. Keep enjoying the largesse coming from whoever you know that is in the corridor of power under this depressing administration. The enjoyment won't last. |

You guys attacking Tinubu are just bigoted fifth columnists. Tinubu is 100% correct and most intelligent Nigerians know he is right. Coincidentally, I made same claim even today with the post below. Keep attacking PBAT myopically. It is your generations unborn who will suffer if you keep pretending not to know the truth, till those who want Nigeria run like a primitive harem regain power and renew their oppressive hijack of the fuel sector, CBN brigandage, forex arbitrage etc. . This time they will be more ruthless trying to plunder Nigeria and steal trillions because Tinubu has shown the world Nigeria can aspire to be progressive and seek first world development. https://www.nairaland.com/8675857/2027-tinubu-falls-power-nigerians#139479340 WizardOfNG: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=xdBPhYAIGtGBJfWO |

Chegesnd:Think deeper. Being Commander in Chief means what given the peculiarity and idiosyncrasies of Nigeria? We the most unfortunate nation when it comes to underground adversarial efforts to undermine and dominant others. Terrorism is a weapon in that effort today. We host a congregation of people who are the biggest enemies of each other yet keep pretentiously smiling in public talking of 'one Nigeria' while scheming murderously to gain advantage over over. The North and South are very different. If you consider the lack of sincerity of Northern leaders to tackle insecurity, perhaps because they are tacit supporters and sponsors of it, you truly believe even Jesus, as Commander in Chief, can resolve the aspect of this battle many of you don't factor in? I.e the ideological sympathy bandits and terrorists enjoy in the North West all never talk about? Gumi is always presenting bandit and terrorist killers as victims the system let down. While Gumi is outspoken, how many think like him yet never publicly announce they are sympathetic towards bandits and terrorists? Do you know the number of Northerners, leaders and ordinary people and even military personnel, supportive of bandit and terrorist to then be abetting them daily? Insecurity is not ending until Northerners, at all levels, want it to. Deal with that reality and stop decieving yourselves. |

Counterigbolies:Don't mind them. Well-said. They can think well but most are just ethnocentric bigot whose capacity to Reason logically and pragmatically is always compromised meaning they will never come online to speak the truth about the unspoken reality of Nigeria we are all aware of. Their mission is of course to gain ethnic political profit from demonizing "Yoruba President" and I have seen many of them have commented on this thread. Intelligent Nigerians can note how Atiku has only spoken recently to condemn an air strike attack on a market in the North intel has shown is a terrorist hub. Unless I missed it, has he commended the government for the 'neutralising' of the ISIS second in command worryingly living and operating freely in Northern Nigeria? What of Obi? Does Atiku, Obi and many others behave as if they are seeking solutions or like cynical and calculated political opportunists? Who knows what some of them are doing underground? These things aren't rocket science. Those pettily seeking ethnic president can keep being mischievous. It is all of us who will suffer if we fail to support the right solutions and keep touting ludicrously one man can be Clark Kent i.e superman. |

Fearyourcreator:Nigeria's Presidency is not Obi's level. Obi cannot even be a local Government chairman in very competitive and 'loaded' districts in Lagos. Is Gbajabiamila the mate of Obi? Obi's messiah worship just shows how we have a serious problem of ethnocentric animosity, desperation and resistance to each other in Nigeria. If not, can't Igbo find a better candidate instead of this failure they are now trying to rewrite history and present as Awolowo, Mandela and Kwame Nkrumah rolled into one? |

AlabiKILLER2023:The problem is not even about sending Tinubu to Iragbiji; then who will take over? Imagine Tinubu being a Muslim and yet we are still struggling with insecurity; now imagine Obi a Christian coming on board, will the insecurity not be worst than what we are experiencing. Imagine what they turned GEJ's government into with insecurity. Bombings here and there. Even late Buhari's govt. wasn't spared. A whole rtd army general ooooooh for that matter. |

Counterigbolies:What actually is Tinubu facing other than that he lacked the balls to call a spade a spade? He knows those sponsoring these insecurity and he is afraid to expose and punish them for fear they may expose his past inimical adventures with them. My conspiracy theory on the insecurity in Nigeria goes thus : These current escalation is sponsored by oppositins and some people that want change in leadership at the FG level for corrupt financial reasons. But since the current FG and some of these opposition had use this script to oust Gej in the past the FG can't exposed them for fear of exposing his past. So he watch them burn the nation hoping he can win the election regardless. |

Racoon:Have you asked yourself: For a long time in this country malams control fx freely on the streets even when it was illegal during military regime. They dominate the bureau de change business. Banks sometimes will not have but malams will have. In fact most bank managers have contact malams so that if there's huge request by his customers he will rely on the malams. Where are they getting the fx from such that banks and end users cannot get from. What is the benefit to the economy? This has gone one regime after regime even in the military era and no government could dislodge them. Who are behind them? Will these powerful people be happy and surrender if they just wake up one day and this source of financial power that has be on for ages is taken away from them? Is there any government at first term that would to do this? Most will buckle on fear of losing second term. Is there anything that this government would have lost if they continue patch patch economic management as others have done just to look good in the eyes of the people. The truth is that opponents know that they can't be this brave to do this but politics will make them say different thing. I will wholly support any opposition that will put it down as covenant that from day one they will reverse all the reforms that this regime did. Let us see how Nigeria will look like. |
