Accountability is not oppression, it is responsibility.

It is disappointing that under the Ademola Adeleke government, funds meant for basic education are now attracting EFCC attention. Osun students still face poor classrooms and inadequate facilities, yet officials are being questioned over grants and project funds. The government must stop treating accountability as an afterthought and start putting the people first.

While Osun schools are suffering from broken roofs, overcrowded classrooms and lack of learning materials, those entrusted with education funds are now being investigated.
This investigation should not just end as another headline. Osun citizens have seen schools with leaking roofs, damaged classrooms and poor facilities for too long. If intervention funds truly came into the state, the impact should have been visible in our schools. Accountability is necessary because education is too important to be neglected.

The Adeleke administration cannot continue to preach good governance while agencies under it are facing serious questions over UBEC counterpart funds. Education is too important for controversies and alleged irregularities. Osun citizens deserve transparency, proper project execution, and clear evidence that public money is being used for development.

Na now everybody dey understand why many SUBEB projects for Osun no get visible impact. See this image of the primary school in Osun State.

The EFCC probe into Osun SUBEB raises troubling questions about the priorities of the Ademola Adeleke administration. While many public schools still need serious improvement, officials are now being asked to explain contracts, payments, and intervention funds. Osun people voted for progress and accountability, not another round of financial controversies.

The painful part is that the common man still struggles daily despite all the money allocated. Take a critical look at the state of Oke Bode grammar school, it is not a pleasing sight at all.

If EFCC is inviting them over school funds then Osun people should be worried seriously. Children future no be joke.

This is exactly why transparency is important in government agencies. Nigerians deserve to know how intervention funds are being spent

Press9jatv... Have you gotten this desperate?

Creating multiple accounts with southsouth names just to push stupid agenda.

Lets assume your story is true, is there anywhere that he was convicted of a crime? He was invited for questioning and he'll answer their questions.

Nobody should be judged yet until investigations are completed, but the EFCC inviting him raises serious concerns that must be clarified
Re: EFCC Invites Osun SUBEB Chairman Over Grants' Management Investigation by emmanuelekong43: 4:58pm On May 22
Our schools are still lacking basic facilities, so hearing about possible misuse of education funds is really disappointing.

This government talks too much about dancing and celebrations, but look at what is happening in the education sector.

Re: EFCC Invites Osun SUBEB Chairman Over Grants' Management Investigation by yemre: 5:44pm On May 22
This is a welcome development. If scrutiny like this is done in all the MDAs, corruption will be reduced because nobody wants to be asked questions he would not be able to answer.

You see all these shady letters of award, LPOs and job orders people do claim to have carried and released money, which were not done, this is the time to prove how all those monies were spent and all the account numbers involved will be scrutinized.

If, as a senior government official, you know how to use your wife's account to move money, keep at it. It will get to your turn.
