Please how can I return a wrong package back to China i made a purchase on aliexpress and item arrived it was not what I paid for so initiated a return and refund process on the app but they said I should ship back the item using post office that they won't cover shiping expenses if I use commercial logistics company so I went to the post office today and was told they dont accept aliexpress item to be sent back to China i kind of dont know what to do at the moment and I have up until 29th May to send the iem back according to aliexpress or I won't be refunded

Please who knows of any post office within Abuja that accepts aliexpress item to be returned to China I would appreciate any input on this

No. This isn't correct.

Shipping method isn't consequent on the use or non-use of coupons. First sellers don't handle shipping of items categorised under AliExpress standard shipping. They are solely in charge of shipping when the shipping method clearly says "sellers shipping". Items shipped through Speedaf will still get shipped through then whether or not you use coupons. I have used coupons and discount several times on items that got shipped though Speedaf.

From experience, choice items almost always gets shipped through Speedaf while others gets shipped as small packet items though the post office. Even if you don't use any coupon you'll still get your item shipped through post office regardless should that be AliExpress chosen method

Had some business around the Post office yesterday, so I decided to branch and check on my guys there.(as I sometimes do)
Upon entering the office, one of them was already holding out an item slip(must have seen me coming from the distance through the window).
I was at first surprised and confused(because I only have 2 active orders, with "custom clearance started" update since early April, which had not changed), so I asked to check the slip, but couldn't recognize the tracking number.
Had initially thought it was my Nothing buds 2a. Only when the attendant brought out the item to the counter that I figured out it was my tablet with December 13 “Arrived at local airport“ update.
I quickly checked AliExpress but there was no update. It was when I checked postal Ninja that I saw the update on April 21.
(I had stopped checking the tracking update on postal Ninja after it stated tracking stopped.
I had given up on the item being delivered, and wasn't monitoring the situation as I had gotten the tab elsewhere.)

I was not notified, I guess they felt I'm always aware of my item arrival.

As it stands, I have received 11 out of my 12 order from December. Only the Nothing buds 2a left.

I knew with time, ordering from AE will come to this. Those sellers cannot continue running at loss.

No one is denying your experience, but that isn't the case the vast majority of the time. Your experience makes for less than 10% of those who order from AliExpress.

The bulk of persons here who order gadgets get them. I ordered 2 tablets last year and got both of them and both came through NIPOST. I've ordered phones too in the past and got them. I have family who have ordered phones over the years and not had issues.

The vast majority of complaints you'll see here is delay. The NIPOST route is exhaustingly long and most times you'll even have to request for a refund before your parcel gets to you. This has happened to multiple people here who has to request for a refund then weeks later got notification either by their tracker or Nipost that their item arrived.

So for anyone who wants to order for phones on AliExpress, they need to know they'll need a lot of patience but it will most likely get to them. If you can't wait then use 3rd party vendors who can order for you and ship in the items on your behalf.

Lol, detained by customs is euphemism for stolen in Nigeria. Too many thieves in the system. AliExpress will eventually shun Nigeria.
Temu clears their goods within twenty four hours,in fact my last parcel was cleared in ten hours.reducing the opportunity for thievery. AliExpress would have to do the same.

Also, I think this issue of missing items for phones and tablets started late last year. I anever experienced it years until early this year

Since the seller is open for communication: tell them that if they can convince their logistics provider to ship the phone with SPEEDAF courier. The phone will arrive with 100% guarantee in record time. That delivery issues to Nigeria is limited to the wrong choice of using Postal Service instead of the proven shipping option. Convince him further that if they ship via Speedaf and it has issues, that you will not press for refund in a way to proof that you are very certain of your position.
I believe they will change their mind when they hear this from you.

It seems there's some type of issue with ordering phones or tablets these days. I ordered a phone in January and after a couple months it got stuck until I applied for a refund. They couldn't process my money back to my card after several weeks and they offered to give me the amount in coupon. I tried to order from another seller and I got a message by the m that they have been having issues with local customs and so can't proceed with the order.
