All these goes to show that White people are wonderful people. Imagine Europe have been enduring, tolerating and accommodating Africans, Indians, etc with us trooping into their countries illegally without documentation for several decades now and they never attacked us physically or harmed us but rather created Asylum pathways and more through which many dejected, helpless and poor Africans were able to build a worthy life in Europe and escaped generational poverty, wars, communal crisis and failed governments in their home countries.

Actually Europe is the one that should get its acts together otherwise it becomes another 3rd world dong hole. Canada also and to some extent USA.

Uncontrolled migration is a disaster anywhere and there's no reason natives should be forced to accept factors that will change their way of life.

There is a number of reason.
Job theft

South Africa has high unemployment and most black migrants who come to South Africa work jobs that can be done by South Africans. These are not investors that start companies but cleaners, Uber drivers, labourers, waiters at restaurants, farm workers.

Migrants who work high-end jobs, such as a doctor or other skill are not affected by these protests since they live in upmarket areas.

Drain on the state

South Africa is not wealthy, but it does have a social net for people. But it was strained and only funded by a small part of the country once you include the fact that the single biggest employer in South Africa is the government only a small part of the population pays for the social net. Migrants benefit from this social network. South African Schools, hospitals and other systems are accessed by ilegal Migrants who don't pay taxes since they work illegal jobs with cash payment and often send most of their money home.

Crime

Now South Africans do crime. It not like only migrants do it. But several criminal industries in South Africa are heavily populated by foreigners. The hard drug trade, Poaching, forced prostitution, and illegal mining.

Just so you under under stand to there are 400 Nigerians in south africas prisons out of 34000 nigerians in south africa. Or more than 1%

0.23% of South African nationals are in prison. When you look at every large migrant African population in south africa you see that they commit more crime as a percentage.


So these three things, stealing jobs, draining the social services and crime is why there is such a issue.

As for why the protest marches. It is because the government failed to address the issue.
