Congrats to them. This would have been Southampton if they didn't get themselves expelled from the finals. So the list is now complete; Coventry city, Ipswich Town and Hull city. At least one of them will return to the championship

On Southampton, we need to, in our prayers, pray for the spirit of self-sabotage...
Where we'll be doing everything right, and then use our own hands to ruin everything - by words or action.

Because Southampton would probably have played today and would probably have won.
But just look at.
Not even an opportunity to participate.

Their actions have brought disappointment to the fans and owners.
It also meant they lost millions in money.
Unfortunate.

Such thread won't draw traffic.
It won't even pass page 1.

How many Nairalanders follow our local league or can name one player in the local league?

i will love to, seriously. infact a thread on daily update of nigeria football. i ran a blog back then and it started gaining abit of recognition but my job stopped me from doing more on it. am a Manchester united fan and also a rangers of Enugu fan as well, we need to promote our football. i follow nigeria football even with my tight schedule from amateur. to NLO 1 and 2 to national league, my elder brother a mech engr played part time for rangers mid 90s while schooling, infact they pleaded with my dad to allow him continue but my dad insisted on him getting his degree before anything his a comptroller now and still play Sunday football in abuja. i also have my friends who played all there football career in nigeria some built houses and bought car as well. this is some people livelihood we need to promote it. i will try create the thread for this and tag you as well.

Likely all of them.
Doubt if Frank Lampard can cut it at the highest level in the dugout. The jury is still out on his coaching career.

I can subscribe for 'buy Nigeria' in everything except intellectual property and performing arts. To me there should be no restrictions or affirmative action concerning those.

So my music, my movies, my food and beverages, my books and periodicals and of course my footie has to be the best the world has to offer, no prejudices whatsoever.

Wish the local league the best of luck, but it doesn't just cut it for me.
