I can tell you That the police man who shot and killed that pregnant woman at Ajah under bridge on December 25, 2021 has been hanged. You will not see the news of the actual execution anywhere on the news but he's been executed. There are a couple of cases like this too

It's not that the media was not aware of the execution, they reported the death penalty judgement, but the actual execution itself was kept out of the public, maybe because of the policeman's wife and little kids. They don't want them going through the trauma of seeing how their loved one was killed

Nigeria no dey execute murdereres and robbers again like abacha and babangida time, that's y these nonsense dey take place. I personally witness execution of robbers in late 80s as very young boy till 1998 for arcade,college junction ,agbor. Then, crime was very low. It was mostly burglary and fraud cases we had, and in rare cases, armed robbery. Murder was almost non existent. Cultism was hidden. It was called secrete cult, with harldy u see confrontation. In the rare robbery or murder cases, action was very swift. within a week after, u hear announcements from police that so and so, who committed murder or armed robbery at so and so place, would be executed by so and so time at arcade. Crowd would be present, with police working overtime controlling em, asking all to pls move behind the shooters. Nigeria was almost like barracks every where, both day and night, u do any how and see any how immediately. Evil dey fear good .Democracy, though good,allowed too many nonsense .Most Gen z no get idea of this.

I pray they find the beast/s behind this heinous and calculated crime. If only there's cctv around to see who was on the premises that day, but surely someone saw or heard something. They should interview her friends, colleagues and neighbours. This was someone she definitely knew and trusted, who had visited her before and had been communicating with on the phone. May they be caught and may justice be served. Someone like this should be flung from the top of a skyscraper like the ones in New York or Chicago.

yes. Many times. It was the custom then nationwide. Na 1999 civilian government come change am. Then everything was swift. robbery and murder na execution. No appeal. Everything within one week from when they were caught, tried with evidence.

They must either be close or concerned.

Armed robbers who killed during the commision of their robberies were the ones who were put to death not just robbers. Robbers who didnt use arm nor kill anyone were just sent to prison.
