A Nigerian student can spend over ₦200k on an iPhone…

…but cannot spend one month learning a skill that could change their life.

…but no valuable skill.

The painful truth is this:

A smartphone is one of the most powerful money-making tools in the world right now.

People are using phones to:

• edit videos

• run businesses

• learn coding

• create content

• freelance online

• make money from social media

Yet many students only use theirs for entertainment and online validation.

A student doesn’t need a skill when he/she can depend on allowances/mom and dad. Them plenty for Nairaland. What is sad is adults without skills of any sort. Those ones also plenty for Nairaland wasting their lives year after year.
