The two nigerians that died were killed by the police and the SANDF. There is currently a multi-departmental anti-crime operation in South Africa envloving the SANDF, where the one Nigerian was killed and the other one was killed by the city police in Johannesburg.

Neither case has any proven it was a Zenophobic killing.
