In my capacity as the lawyer of the "goat" that is shown being paraded with the suspected goat thieves, I must raise an initial objection to the misidentification of my esteemed client as a "goat" when clearly he is a RAM with all rigthts and privileges therein.

Furthermore, my client, Double Chief Alhaji Agbolabi is NOT a suspect in this case of goat theft, and therefore should not have been paraded beside the usual suspects in the above picture.

Accordingly, I intend to file a robust lawsuit with the Abuja Supreme Court seeking substantive monetary compensation for this egregious act of defamation committed by the Nigerian police, due to the serious damage caused to the reputation of my client Double Chief Agbolabi, and as legal redress for the mental anguish he has experienced during the course of this unfortunate dereliction of duty by our law enforcement officers who should have known better than to stage this kind of embarasing spectacle.

Thanks for your input

Something wasn't quite right about the "headline"

Especially how they all had to be "arrested" in their jerseys.

Hope the mods see your post and resist the urge to push this to FP...

This viral image of a Daily Trust newspaper front page is edited and fake. While the image has been widely circulated across social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook, it is a manipulated satirical graphic rather than a genuine news report published by the Nigerian media outlet.
