![]() Power of social media. Instead of them to come out clean and say they wanted the loan to sponsor their campaign, they lied it'd be used to generate power But thank God for the association of angry Nigerians that stormed the world bank comment section to remind them of the motive behind the loan. ![]() |

To the glory of God, Tinubu has already told Nigerians not to vote for him if he fails to stabilize the electric power in his first term. Voting Tinubu out of Aso Rock is the duty of every sensible Nigerian. |

Nigerians protested, Nigerians got the results. If we vote, we will also get the result. Remember, if I don't give you electricity, don't vote me for second term. cvr.inecnigeria.org |

The world bank clearly listened to the people. In as much as they don't care if our leaders are corrupt they tend to listen to the voice of the people when necessary |

If you read what was written there in simple terms: FG went to collect 1.5 billion dollars loan from world bank, and they were disbursing it in batches, world bank had released up to 800 million dollars and only to find out that the more they released money the more the power sector kept on collapsing with more black outs, increase in tariffs and lower power generation. No one needed to tell the world bank to stop releasing more money because the FG has clearly failed on that, it became like throwing money inside well. |

The terms of the loan couldn't allow them to loot that's why they cancelled the contract. |

I taught tinubu removed subsidy to save trillions for Nigerians according to him. Tinubu gov has no direction, all he did in 3+ yrs was gallivanting around the globe and borrowing, I challenge anyone on this forum to come up with any tangible achievement of tinubu and APC then they will have my vote 2027. |

No matter how long this administration takes. This government will be answerable for these loans. People will go to court and stand in front of Nigerians and explain how the monies were spent. This is not the Nigeria of before, people have lost lives due to lack of basic amenities and insecurity Yet, everyday we hear about loans in billions of dollars. Loans that Nigerians will have to pay back with our commonwealth. |

We don win, we don win, we don win. This is the positive protest I love Nigerian youths to be engaging in. Let's come out always and discredit their negative actions, let's tell the world what we are going through in the hands of these corrupt looters called Leaders and politicians. Let's frustrate their lives out of power and finally kick their behind..... |

What amazes me is how private citizens collude with government officials to embezzle these funds without having a rethink of the damage they're doing to the economy. |

South Africa took loans and effortlessly increased their power generation. Nigeria takes same loan and has remained at approx 5,000MW of generation OBJ left it. It is roads Tinubu is doing with all his muscle. How will more lanes stop our most pressing issues? How? |

Bro, do you know how millions of Nigerians are praying, going to the mosques and churches, fasting, going to Jerusalem and hajj with tax payers money, praying to be given a political post or even make a DG of any government parastatals. The waiting Nigerians, eagerly waiting and begging to join the looting leadership of the government is more than the current looters in power million times. You will know the true picture of a Nigerian when he gets to a higher post of power. BioData45: |

The World Bank noted that Nigeria’s electricity sector continues to face deep-rooted structural challenges despite years of reforms and significant financial support. A corrupt President may your become borrowers in their lives since you are mortgaging the futures of others with your needless borrowings after removing all subsidies, power sector that would have been decentralised to curb corruption. |
