SmartPolician:
The moment this generation left Nigeria to start their Ghollywood, the nonsense didn't even last for 5 years before it died. Now, they are coming back to act in Nollywood because they've realised they have no movie industry

One can liken this to a child who didn't take his time to learn from his master but thinks he is experienced enough to stand alone only to realise that he knows zilch.
They are not talented enough to make movies and no big market to make huge profit, hence they must accept second fiddle, but since they see themselves as par and must compete with country that bigger than them in everything, they will keep on meeting their waterloo

Thanks for the update though most of the movies are captivated through sexuality and romance... Not so much impactful...

I may be wrong though but that's my view.

Team action Hollywood/foreign movies.
No time to watch film wey ghost dey eat biscuits, cross road sad
But you have time to watch film that 10 people will be shooting one person and still escape unhurt.

Film that actor would jump out from racing car of 200 MPH and still come out unhurt.

Film in which they will throw bomb in a building, yet actor will not die.

hmm, I think I've defended Nigeria on social media more than anyone can imagine, I mean when citizens of other African countries attack or insult our people, I did that for years till I got tired and stopped, but truth be told, some of our people out there have really tarnished the image of this country with their crime and criminality
Very true.

Learn to appreciate your own, Americans appreciated their own that's why they are progressive. I don't watch Nollywood movies that much but I won't talk bad about the movie industry.

One of the things that made them stand out was that they didn't have any moral barrier to acting soft porn... At a point, I actually started believing sex was one of the easiest things to get in Ghana... Most times, na so-so rubbish them dey act for film

Ghanaians are the last to hate us, they tolerate our excesses more then most.

Aside the negatives, they wish they could be us.

I spent time abroad once and played in a football team with a few Ghanaians. They used to abuse me and Nigerians which didn't even bother me as dere yabbis was weak, but when I gave them back wotowoto, even they were laughing harder than anything.

We and them are one, forget all the Eze Ndigbo stuff.
