investmentvirus:Without wishing to sound obnoxious, I honestly feel some of u have wrong approach to this equity fund investment. When u start panicking like this, it means u are investing in equity fund wrongly. Equity is long term, any money u are putting into equity must be money u can do without in the next 6 months to 1 year minimum, that's the number 1 rule. If u put an emergency fund into equity, u may end up selling at loss when u need that money. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by auschris: 3:29pm On May 26 |
I understand SK Hynix is coming to the US market soon. For now, we are only able to invest in it via ETFs. For now, KORU is short term for me cos of its high volatility CSblackpink: |

If by month end I don’t see any green in this mumu paramount, I’m removing my money and deleting the app forever, imagine a whole month on red no single green Haba |

FLKR should do 10% tonight. auschris: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Rhymeyjohn: 4:05pm On May 26 |
Many of the people complaining about equity fund have MMM mentality. Same thing someine shared on Facebook. Nigerians just follow trends. It was crypto now stocks and equities everywhere. They have mind to cash out after every eke market day. Investment is a long term business. From 3+ years |

| Re: Equity Investment. by Keith05cool(m): 4:48pm On May 26 |
A whole month on red and you say someone shouldn’t complain, the reason we all come here is to see performing equities, i dont see any reason why someone should not port to a performing asset, its my money i guess, so you can’t tell someone what to do and what not to do with their moneys, if you want to remain on red please do with your full chest |

Below is submission this morning to an investment platform I belong to The current bearish market is a good barometer for determining what kind of investor you are. If you can't bear to see your balance in red for multiple days in a, you are better off investing in fixed income investments like mmf, treasury bills, CPs, bonds.. Moderate risk investors will hold off for now while aggressive investors will continue to tactically buy more regardless of what is happening in the market. After a bull run, the market cools off, consolidates and goes on another run. Stay invested and keep making money No one is telling you what to do with your money or not to complain. It will be better if it's made from a place of knowledge and not emotions. No one likes to lose money but in the investment world, things rarely move in linear form. Keith05cool: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Ensol(f): 5:15pm On May 26 |
Keith05cool:I understand your fears, however, the loss recorded is nothing compared to the gains for someone that started in January. I would advise you liquidate and create your own portfolio, that I believe will give you rest of mind. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Ensol(f): 5:21pm On May 26 |
Keith05cool:Sincerely Paramount has been transparent enough compared to GTEF, whose inconsistency and discrepancies was alarming in April when all FM were green, GTEF was constantly on red, I moved 90% of fund to buy the dips in May, and I am glad I did so. |

Please who is using meristem equity on Cowrywise? I just noticed my YTD went down from 59% to 50% in a single day. Could this be a system glitch or a massive yakubu ![]() |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Crossblueart: 6:29pm On May 26 |
Keith05cool:I mean no offence but I'm not sure you did your homework before venturing into this. This is a game of patience. I'm currently sitting on a loss of close 150k this month. You only lose once you sell. Like someone said, don't invest any money you will need in a short time. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Crossblueart: 6:35pm On May 26 |
froshroy:While this is possible, it's very unlikely unless all the stocks they invest in did an average of 9% loss. Does Cowrywise allow you to select a single vendor? I thought it's more of a collective portfolio of 4 different vendors |
| Re: Equity Investment. by froshroy(m): 7:07pm On May 26 |
Crossblueart:I did it early this year before they merged all the vendors into a collective portfolio. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Ensol(f): 7:27pm On May 26 |

| Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 11:03pm On May 26 |
Koru did 30% yesterday, and its cousins did 10%. FLXK did 6.99% due to the fact that it didn't see red last Friday. auschris: |
