How many people use Osun airport or Akure airport, talk more of Bayelsa with only 8 LGAs without roads. Instead of airport,the state should be building ferry terminals and buying ferries ⛴️.

Abakaliki, Umueri, Ekiti, and many other airports across Nigeria are currently unusable and unviable. They were built as a means of corruption. Factories of any kind would be better for the citizens.

So using a data driven insight, explain how an airport in bayelsa (1 hour away from ph) will make the state more viable than brewery

America has over 11,000 breweries that is 1 brewery/31,000 persons
Nigeria has about 20 breweries that is 1brewery/12,000,000 persons

With this, Nigeria should be more viable than US

Can a beer factory fly in investors that this is a greatest question..?

In trying to justify Obi's failed investment in investing Anambra state funds in a brewery , this one had to resort to comparing apples to oranges.

Airports are a vital and critical utility infrastructure that provide wide range of job opportunities to varying high skilled set of workers.

If your obi has instead invested in a mega poultry or piggery that will instead convert the daily 15,000 to 20,000 tonnes of grains grown in the north as feed, maybe you won't be buying eggs and chicken at the exorbitant prices you are paying for it now

Certain production operations are a net negative. Breweries are one of such economic net negative ventures as they put pressure on food resources that could have been on your table or used as livestock feed.

Now imagine instead of a brewery that obi invested in a large scale piggery that will utilize same grain inputs used in making beer.

Anambra would have been exporting pork and pig offals to China and earning good money as China's pork demand is insatiable and prices keep going up.

This piggery would have seen to processing plants like slaughter houses and packaging firms springing up and you guys can have the surplus pig meat you love so much in Anambra.

Can airport generate sustainable jobs and turnout sustainable revenue? For most of our state owned airports, the answer is NO.

Beer factory on the other hand, though morally rejected by some, can create local jobs and sustain them.

As for suggestion of animal feed use for grain, i think such suggestion can go towards the herders who destroy crops.
