So I just got this truck as man's getting older and practical and I'm loving it,maybe early excitement though,I don't know.
Things I noticed:
This thing burns a lot of gas,I mean a lot!15.5-15.6L/100km na em dey for dash steady angry ,used to be 14.3L/100km,don't know why it jumped.

Hard steering ,maybe because it's coming from someone that have been driving sedans for a while now and some CUVs.

Large turning space and poor manoeuvrability,Hilux no follow you manage space oo,you go reverse tire.

Sturdy suspension, you no dey feel anything.

Slow truck, crawls its way up to 170kph and stays there, sucks!

And I get free service for 20,000km or one year whichever comes first from the dealership at no cost.

Car came at 677km sad

Expensive purchase no doubt but worth it.
Awww congratulations, please send money for drinks for celebration

Why did it have over 600km though. Brand new should have 100km max and even that is a lot.

There wide arrays of reasons why that's so ,

Maybe the local driving to car lot and back, this may have been imported or assembled in 2024 for 2025.

Note- ir this was an issue, he bought at a dealership, ane the odometer can easily be rolled back to 2km and everyone is happy.

So 677km out of possible 300,000 km he would drive it is acceptable.

Cheers Buddy

Na naija you dey, we don't call petrol gas here. You're confusing people with this gas gas you're typing. People would think you're referring to actual gas.

Why do you need back cover in Naija. Most people use back cover to avoid truck being filled with snow during winter. Your choice though, I wouldn't careless if I am using it in Nigeria.

Of course. Better they be honest than roll back. Its only cause delivery miles should be max 100km unless he has asked that the car be delivered and it was driven to him.

600km is Lagos to Ibadan x 3

Of course he may be from akata, but lives in Naija. Gs is regular term in North America. Fuel is anything that 🔥

@ Seatrade, the Ezego of West African seafaring merchant that distributes wines all over French Speaking West African country, kedu.

@ topic , l , brought Ford Explorer SUV From Canada to Nigeria, it was 6 Plugs and it was a fuel guzzler as well.

If your Hilux is a 6 or 8 plug, get ready to pay for Dangote fuel ooooooooo mucheche Hahaha 😂

Any SUV or Truck that is 4 plugs is gas or petrol economical but anything above 4 plugs, na fuel guzzlers ooooooooo

Is your Hilux a 6 or 8 plug?

That's an impressive purchase and it looks rugged. But you have to configure it to run on CNG as well from Nipco or other sources to complement the gasoline usage and save the cost on high gasoline purchases till things normalize globally due to the ongoing U.S./Israel vs Iran War.

Dual fueling is the way to go.

If you don't go on rough roads, I wouldn't understand why you got a Hilux.

A Tacoma would be a far better city driver as a truck, though it's V6 engine will burn more fuel.
