SeaTrade:^^^ As far as I'm concerned, the design brief for the Hilux must have been something like: "should be able to survive a nuclear blast". ![]() The only error is the phasing out of manual transmissions. Manual transmissions should be brought back. |

jogojogo:There are millionaires in Somali and South Sudan , if you don’t know. The state of the nation is determined by the condition of the “masses” not a few privileged individuals. Nigeria is rich with natural resources that yield billions of dollars daily. But this money is not trickling down to the populace as it should. Hence the high poverty rate. |

NaijaHelper1:^^^ Really? That's great to hear. I have visited several Toyota showrooms over the years (only window shopping of course ) and I couldn't find a single manual transmission vehicle. Maybe I just had bad luck. Good to hear MTs still exist. But for how much longer? There was a time we could get hydraulic power steering, normal (not electronic) parking brakes, automatic transmissions with a dipstick, normally aspirated engines, port injection etc. in your average vehicle. Nowadays, those features are slowly becoming extinct. I hope the manual transmission survives. |

FreeStuffsNG:^^^ That's the thing with Toyotas. They aren't the prettiest automobiles. Not by a long shot. They will not win any beauty contests. The styling of most Toyotas doesn't usually take your breath away. But...unlike some other manufacturers (WMB and zneb sedecrem for example ) Toyota spends the money where it really matters - underneath the sheet metal. You can't see it - but its there. Quality control. Stress testing. R & D. Supply chain management. Inventory management. That's where Toyota pours the money into - and it shows. Toyota always gets the job done. Always. |

Is this in Nigeria or where ? For a brand new 2025 Toyota Hilux, you should be getting 2-3 years free service or not lees 40k mileage. Whichever comes first. There should also be some warranty. But if Naija, I go understand. |
