Regardless of political affiliation, the Nigerian government, immediate past and present, have all failed. The primary function of any government if the security of its people and their welfare, failing to secure the lives of its citizens and secure their welfare, they all have failed, from the local authorities to the governors to the presidents. They are all failures.

Ahhh, its a big shame on the nigerian security architecture, shey we wan talk say this terrorists no dey organised reach, do you know the logistics and planning it will take to keep over 40 children alive for over 10 days and counting, no matter how poor the conditions are? As sad as this whole kidnapping is, it is sometimes difficult to empathise with the community.

People in that local government came out to vote in the apc presidential primaries AFTER thier children were kidnapped and brutalised by terrorists...

Not only did they vote, they overwhelming voted for bat... it means they are okay with the failure of bat to address terrorism/large scale insecurity even in thier own community.

So, why should others carry the matter on their head when the people directly involved are supporting the architect of thier misfortune?
