Here we go again. Nigeria's problem, many decades long, begins and end with Tinubu according to you bigots. Can you people ever rise above your indoctrinated prejudice against Yorubas and the SW?

Which Southern President has allowed USA operate in Nigeria as we are seeing today? Even OBJ, a military general, will be hesitant. Certainly not GEJ who simply does not have the capacity.

What you guys show here daily is the problem of Nigeria. I.e an inability of Nigerians to rise above petty ethno-religious chauvinism to see what matters and what is in the best progressive interest of Nigeria.

If you guys are truly progressive and mean well for Nigerian, assuming you see the big picture clearly, you will know Tinubu is a President all Nigerians should get behind so we have honest conversations with ourselves and put some measures in place to rehabilitate our nation.

Tinubu is perhaps the only Southern leader who can facilitate that. Never that fraud Obi you ethnocentric lot deify.
The man criticized Jonathan heavily and i expect nothing less as solution from him as president.
There is no reasonable excuse for one ethnic militia have cells of few hundred fighters and the army that boasts thousands of soldiers who can be redeployed to handle one or two cell at a time, doing almost nothing for the attacked and even protecting the aggressors. It points to high level conspiracy and is very troubling.

You come across as one paid to defend I must say.

This is a stupid statement
Honestly, we need to start questioning our educated claim in Southern regions as so far, it's useless

I am not paid to defend anyone. I am a solutions provider and I do well financially. I just want peace and progress so we can all enjoy Nigeria.

Yes Tinubu criticised GEJ but it is all politics. In real terms, and related to addressing the fundamental problems of Nigeria, Tinubu has done far better than GEJ.

No decent Nigerian will be happy at the level of insecurity in Nigeria today but the problem is very complex and I believe Tinubu is doing well given the reality of our challenges.

The solution is to create State or regional policing asap which I believe this President will achieve. Once Stated and region have the capacity to define their own security solutions then they can be as modernly efficient as the best in the world or as backwards as the worst.

All their plans is to conquer other Nigerians and take full control, that's the reason why the Fulani leaders in the North are not bothered because they have their plans mapped out.

Jonathan used SA mercenaries to push back BH. Tinubu cannot touch them from all we are seeing.
Our problem in this nation is blindness.

What nonsense is this one saying? When people talk as you do it is obvious the issue is about bias/prejudice against others. Probably ethno-religious.

Tinubu is probably the only Southern leader alive who can do what we are seeing today.

Jonathan, when he was in power, dare allow USA operate in Nigeria? Dem no born Obi or any other Southerner to try am.

You are probably a bitter Obidient who does not understand how innate authority and strength, vested in only a few individuals, works.

Nigerian Presidency is not about the office as in Okonjo-iweala or Adeshina etal can come in and start bullying/ordering many monsters and demagogues around.

What Tinubu has done so far, only him can do as a President from the South given the adversarial dichotomy between the North and South particularly in terms of vested interest.

Give Tinubu his dues. He is the strongest Southern leader alive by far and I personally even worry for the South when he departs because I don't see anyone who can can come in and the North will not bully or subjugate.
If you are well, you would know that Obasanjo handled insecurity more than how tinubu is handling it now

Look bro, this is where you have to try and understand the big picture.

Nigeria's problem is structural and stems from issues we are don't want to confront related to how very different we are and how those differences can become a strength if we accept and define them instead of glossing over issues with 'one Nigeria' self-deceit.

Hiring mercenaries cannot solve anything. Short termism at best. Real solution will revolve around State/regional police force that will allow regions of Nigeria, that want it, to create modern, intelligence/tech based and effective police forces our divided, unmotivated, corrupt, ethno-religiously fractious Nigerian police force, an example of everything wrong about 'one Nigeria', will never achieve.

Jonathan and OBJ outrightly said Nigeria "not ripe for State policing". Buhari pretended he did not hear the question. It is only under Tinubu such is now an imminent possibility.

Moving away from insecurity, why did GEJ not have the balls to remove fuel subsidy? Yes Tinubu etal gaslit him but opposition politics is precisely about that.

Only PBAT has fairly created regional development commission for every geopolitical zone of Nigeria that the FG is funding whereas we had only NDDC under all other Presidents since 1999.

Why was GEJ not brave enough to destroy currency arbitrage mainly benefitting the Northern Bureau De Change system yet doing massive damage to Nigeria's ability to make the Naira a more convertible currency and supply Forex to those who can improve our capacity to trade with the world.

I could go on all day. Bro, Tinubu is not GEJs mate even as I can understand if you have a sentimental or ethnocentric attachment to Jonathan. I only ever align with facts and stone cold reality. We must begin to shun sentiments and emotions if we truly wish Nigeria to be great.

Have you ever wondered why Buhari said "An Attack on Boko Haram is an Attack on the North"

Or why the North never protested against Boko Haram +Banditry, but will quickly rise in protest against US attack on terrorists.

Or why "repentant" terrorists are recruited into the Nigerian Army.

Or why the NSA said Terrorists are our brothers & should be handled with kid gloves.
...

Let's keep deceiving ourselves that we are one, in this forced Geographical Contraption called Nigeria.

Imagine joining Israel🇮🇱 & Iran🇮🇷 together as a country and expecting them to unite as one and make progress.

Don't imagine again; that's Nigeria🇳🇬.
Well said

Blame the Federal Govt here. We thought Buhariw was worse being a Fulani himself, but Tinubu seems worse off. we don't know who Tinubu is afraid of.
Buhari hunted MNK and Igboho to annihilate them, tell me why Tinubu is afraid to round up these Fulani bandits and clear them off our land?

Tinubu have succeeded in destroying their common sense.

Tinubu's style of politics is very dangerous to a multiethnic nation like Nigeria because Tinubu's style of politics and leadership is all about ethnic division and bias. His conscienceless supporters also show same irredeemable character of interpreting every criticism of the failed Tinubu's regime as tribalism but when Tinubu was using Lagos state treasury to fund different protests and uprising against Goodluck Jonathan's government, Tinubu was playing politics.

But whenever anybody criticizes Tinubu's woeful performance as a divisive President he has been, they turn it to tribal war.

Tinubu appointing only Yorubas into every key government office or position is not bigotry, but criticizing Tinubu's failure as a President is bigotry.

I thank God Tinubu finally became President, it has exposed a lot of them, if not they would have been telling us tales of how Tilumbum would have transformed Nigeria to Tokyo if he had became President

The issue is that the criminals are taking the advantage of our accommodative nature in the south especially south west to gain ground and eventually unleash terror on their host communities. I think It is time our local authorities start profiling any strangers entering our local communities or at least a form of identification and natives be on red alert in our communities.

The Federal and state governments should take community policing more serious and divert more resources into it. Both federal government and state governments should at this time priotise security more the 2027 election.

I have issue with @bolded

Let's take herdsmen in Southern regions as an example, please whose cows are they protecting?

The recent kidnapping in Oyo state, there are reasonable numbers of NL's that can testify to how I have been shouting on top of my voice about Oyo and Osun state precisely with the way they are handling their affairs. If there is any bandits in any part of South West, only religion can bring them in

They are certainly up to that number. They are the ones responsible for more than 70% insecurity situations in Nigeria today. They are virtually in every state of the federation. If Tinubu fails to do something drastic before one of their kinsmen takes over, the situation will go from bad to worse.
Buhari really messed up this country... also, started from that APC desperacy to remove PDP.
Unfortunately, the masses alone suffer this. I really wish politicians and their families are at risk too.

Incredible! if not this apc govt that's treating those hardened criminal terrorists with kid gloves and even giving them cover in some instances I don't think they will be bold enough to continue what they are currently doing all over nigeria.
