ceejayluv:There are clear-cut reforms Nigeria cannot avoid if she is serious about becoming a developed nation as many are predicting we can be by 2050. You write like an intelligent person and I think you will appreciate Nigeria needs critical and urgent reforms. Omokri, when making the point we are not oil-rich as most ordinary Nigerians believe, talked about how most Nigerians only think of Eba and Rice. Yes, that talk may sound offensive but it is the truth because past leaders, by their actions and inactions, have made Nigerians "elebi" i.e hungry folks always focused on food as if life, as some of us know it to exist outside Nigeria, should not be about much more. Why did GEJ not initiate even a single one of those reforms crucial to positioning Nigerians towards developed nation status whereas Tinubu has initiative several to global acclaim? See below. I appreciate your politeness though. Be nice if many here can discuss civilly. Productive education grows that way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=2jB-5_qqQ6lSSKtq |

Osanoghodua1:Good talk 👍. We want Solutions - which Many , Including Past Govts and Head of State- - FAILED WOEFULLY TO MAKE POSITIVE IMPACTS ON NIGERIA For Decades,in fact Since 1960-1963 Independence! For Example: - For we have One military 🪖- who turned 🛞 suddenly to become a Military- President, - Then Followed by another -Dictator that wanted to become a - Civilian President- in this same Nigeria ! - And you now have the Social Media gaulible audiences footsoldiers president, - As they wants to Install- a Philosophy reader - without understanding Econometrics phenomenon in a Complex State like Nigeria upon us- just because they have nothing left than support their Own and the same set of people will be telling us ' Tribalism, Manipulations,lies- fuel by Innuendos! - The Past Administrations, including Head of States -Present to us ( NIGERIANS)- An Economy , •- Without -Real Productivity that can generate Manufacturing Of Goods and Services, •-Exports Driving Economy- Imaging If the Past Government - have given Nigeria - 24/7 Light 🕯️ 🚨- both in Cities,Towns and Villages - but Corruption will Not Allow it! •-Fully Backed INVESTORS- Confidence- as we see in USA, European Countries, UK,Other Places, - How Would Nigeria Be Today, - IF ALL THE ABOVE FACTORS HAVE DEVELOPED BUT Why is it Now - in this last 3- years - we are now lambasting the govt in Power Because those Structural - Deficiency And Damages, + And the Systemic Problems Were there SINCE( Decades) , before Tinubu came three years ago ⁉️ |

DoTheNeedful:Tinubu doesn't think so; he said "Fulani and Yoruba are one".... that's why he doesn't feel there's any problem with security in Nigeria |

helinues:Even if what you stated here are true the atrocities being committed by Fulanis are not limited to that. The banditry and terrorism are they herdsmen vs farmers crises. There are grand plans by Islamic jihadists to grab lands and forcefully islamise Nigeria. The killing of christians worshippers in both the middle belt and south west aren't a coincidence. |

WizardOfNG:I know the US wouldn't help GEJ at the time because of how the Democrats behave, even though he did approach them. But if you're old enough, at least 15 yrs around 2013 - 2014, you'd know that GEJ used foreign machineries to eliminate Boko Haram around that time. I know u wouldn't know because then u were still rolling tires on the road with just ur pants. Now because ur lord and personal savior is failing, you're shifting the blame from him. Same man who said the buck stops with the president. |

WizardOfNG:What makes you think Tinubu knows what he's doing? Jonathan removed subsidy partially in 2012, but your BAT protested against it. He came in and his first words were subsidy is gone. No planning, no safety net, nothing. Just words that threw the country into turmoil. What did he do afterwards? He shared rice. Is that visionary to u? Okay, after he said we wouldn't need to borrow money again, what did he do? He took the gains from the subsidy removal and sent them to governors who eventually decamped to his party with fewer to nothing to show after increased allocation. And we all know there won't be accountability, as long they keep chanting the mandate song. Is that visionary to u? He has borrowed more than previous presidents despite removing subsidy? Is that visionary? What reforms are u talking about when we still have critical sectors like education and health in comatose? Abi is it the education loan ure talking about? You increase tuition by over 200% and then u offer them servitudes in form of loans. Is that visionary? And by the way, there's nothing like Southern unity. You guys should stop the deceit already. |

Nteogwuija:Lol. You got jokes Nigga. I actually like GEJ. He is a gentleman I know means well. I am also aware of how he used Mercenaries to overwhelm Boko Haram and regain territory from terrorists. My issue with GEJ is that he only made reactionary moves. The leader that will lead Nigeria to become developed must make reformational and structural adjustments of Nigeria. |

| Re: 30,000 Fulani Militants Fuelling Nigeria’s Insecurity – US Report by Nteogwuija(m): 1:53pm On May 27 |
WizardOfNG:Have u heard about the CONFAB report? The 2 APC presidents couldn't and can't grant media chats or have talks with ordinary Nigerians who are the direct recipients of their bad policies. They'd rather do recorded sections or go to Chatham House as though they preside over the UK citizens. And here u are calling GEJ a man who lacked foresight or who was reactive. Tinubu is proactive, yet he said "subsidy is gone" without planning for safety nets, only to be sharing rice. Make ona sha dey know say no be everybody wey fit into that Bwala narrative. |

TINUBU!! DESPITE REMOVING SUBSIDY WOULD WIN 2027 ELECTIONS IF SHAGARI, OBJ, YAR ADUA, GEJ ND PMB HAD KNOWN IT WAS POSSIBBLE TO REMOVE SUBSIDY ND STILL WIN 2ND TERM ELECTIONS SUBSIDY WOULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED BY SHAGARI 40YRS AGO D ONLY REASON FUEL SUBSIDY LASTED THIS LONG IS THE DECISION BY LEADERS TO PLACE PERSONAL INTEREST OVER NATIONAL INTEREST Nteogwuija: |

/ About 1,000 politicians holding 240 million people at ransom. 240 million people at the mercy of 30,000. And they say there is power in numbers. I think the land is full of cowards. Otherwise make it make sense. Even if the government makes arms legal, many will still rather die than defend themselves. / |
| Re: 30,000 Fulani Militants Fuelling Nigeria’s Insecurity – US Report by wirinet(m): 3:09pm On May 27 |
WizardOfNG:Now, I believe this to be a paid propagandist, because the excuses are senseless and false. President Jobathan almost eliminated Boko Haram, few months to the elections. Even the once impenetrable Sambisa forest, became easily accessible. During Jonathan's reign, insurgency was restricted to Borno, and a few terrorist attacks on Abuja. Now insurgency has taken over the North East, north west, middle belt and even some parts of the south west. School children abductions and kidnappings is now a regular occurrence. The most annoying thing is that the Tinubu Government is not even talking about it. And someone can open his mouth and say "Tinubu has done far better than GEJ." State or regional police to fight well armed and organised insurgents and militias? What are you smoking? |

We cant fix bad roads and u are talking about other countries going to the moon? U want to shift blames to abacha and obasanjo almost 30 years ago? Look at lagos and see area boys and touts all over lekki area now. tinubu empowered these boys and brought them to the city and suburbs to collect money from commercial transporters. |

InvertedHammer:You can't blame the 240 million people. It's the various governments over the decades that deliberately rendered the people helpless. The ensured that ordinary citizens have no access to arms, or training of handling of arms. Military training was removed from the NYSC programme, and it was reduced to just a few round of marching and exercise for a month. As a result a few thousands of people with adequate military training can hold the whole 240 million to ransom. |

The solution is not rocket science, simply ban open grazing in the country and force the herders to embrace ranching that way anyone found in the bush is considered a criminal and dealt with , whatever other solution the government is considering will only be a cosmetic surgery to the real issues. |
| Re: 30,000 Fulani Militants Fuelling Nigeria’s Insecurity – US Report by wirinet(m): 3:37pm On May 27 |
Victorodehankel:We have gone beyond the open grazing issue as solution to insurgency, we need to declare war on the insurgents, and deploy the full force of the military, or at worst hire foreign mercenaries to prosecute the war if the C-in-C does not trust the military to do the job. |

WizardOfNG:God bless your reasoning ability 👍 ,as you have made good statements. •👉Between NIGERIANS And Tinubu Government: Many Do Not like to hear- Hard-Facts,that is INCONTROVERTIBLE. For Many On Social Media -wants you hear or remind us is that ' oh during the so,so govt, Petrol Prices was N400- above Coca- Cola prices, etc. - But we( Nigerians )were sleeping 😴 at Petrol Station ⛽ then, -Bunkering and the Countries in Neighborhoods ( Benin- Republic,Nigeria, Cameroon,Chad, etc )- were All Smiling - as they benefits in Activities of the Smugglers ! 'Oh a Dollar to Naira was N500' and the question is ⁉️: •-Where Are these Past -Govt LEGACIES FOR THE YOUTHS AND THE MASSES Today ? - For Most Of The PAST Govt-in Nigeria Were just like Other African Leaders - making Nigeria to Blead Excessively- as they Were COSMETICS IN GOVT-APPROACH then: • Corruption was rampant , •They Were Afraid 😳 to Take A Far- Reaching Decisions That Can Bring in A Lasting Positive Impacts to Nigerians • And For President Tinubu: Question- will be raised as to❓: 1•What happens After the Subsidies Removal? - How Much Did Your Govt-Got- During the Removal of Subsidies till date ? 2• WHY Is Your Govt- Still Borrowing Money 🤑 💰, From World Bank and Others Financial Institutions -despite the Money From Subsidies and the IRAN- American EXCESS CRUDE OIL 🪔- Money Received? So What Happens? 3• Why Making the National Assembly ( Senators and House of Reps Members)- to becomes Instant Billionaires -by the Increases in their -CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS Money 🤑 - to Billions 💰, 4.and Where Are their CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS Works in Nigeria ❓, Why Can't Nigerians See them or Why Are these Constituency Projects Impacts- Visible? Or is it to buy their Loyalty? - yet Most Nigerians in -Rural Areas and Localities -Remains POOR till today because of : -UN-MOTORABLE Roads, -NO LIGHT- No INDUSTRIALIZATION 🚨🕯️ -NO HOSPITAL/ Health Care Facilities, -NO Tarred ROADS 🛣️ ,etc. - No Housing Projects for these- Nigerians 5• How Come the GOVERNORS in Nigeria -Now have More -Billions in their States Accounts through the Quarterly Sharing of Money from National Purse - but there is little Corresponding-Economic Activities -Impacts On THEIR Various States ? 6-No Impact on the YOUTHS, hence Japa -Syndrome is Rampant because these Youths see No Future in Nigeria, 7• Why Are the Executives, the Governors, the Ministers - through their Offices and Budgets, Now Have More -Money 💰,After the Subsidies Removal, but is Not Reflecting On The People of Nigeria ? 8• Yet ,The Majority of NIGERIANS- Are POOR and Becoming Poorer,as Many Cannot Boast of Adequate -Foods In their Tables because of Expensive and high Transportation Cost, or Having Money in their Accounts For Real -Investment purposes or Businesses but they Are Concerned On Survival Mode, - For example - A Bag of Cement is 12K in Nigeria Now but 5k in Benin-Republic- WHY ⁉️ • Sir, NIGERIANS Believes -you Can Change These Narratives the same way you Boldly Removed the Subsidies From the Oil Cabal in 2023 then ! • NIGERIANS Demand FOR, 1- ACCOUNTABILITY IN GOVERNMENT - including -the Federal,States and Local and 2- TRANSPARENCY - Which We are yet to See- for example in Govt- Activities including In Awarding Contracts to Contractors, etc 3. BOLDLY- TACKLE THE SECURITY MATTERS in NIGERIA, and Put those using and Benefitting from Regular- Security -Votes -Money 🤑 to Shame and as Avenue for -Corruption And those Supporting the Evil-Terrorists ,Bandits, Kidnappers-for Ransome and their Sponsorers- to book and let Nigeria be at PEACE. President Tinubu -You Can Do it NOW and SAFE Nigeria from Incessant Harassment of the Fulani-Herdsmen ,terrorists and Kidnappers and Cross Borders Criminals . • Just FACTS and TRUTH - But Is hard to Believe and Swallow 🥵 |
