Sad Pictures Of The Day. (Viewers Discretion) by Odewaleadesoye(op): 9:43pm On May 27
Today is Children’s Day but many Nigerian children are not celebrating. They are living in fear instead of joy.

Insecurity is getting worse. Kidnapping is now common. People cannot even travel short distances without fear. Every journey feels like a risk. Every phone call at night brings fear.

Families are not at peace. Parents are worried every time their children leave home. Students are afraid. Workers are afraid. Farmers are afraid. Nobody feels safe anymore.

Life is becoming very hard. Food is expensive. Survival is difficult. And yet the fear of insecurity sits on top of everything like a heavy weight.

Government at all levels should focus more on protecting lives and property. Not politics. Not 2027. People are suffering now.

Please and please, help free these children and their teachers.

No child deserves this. No Nigerian deserves this.

We need safety again. We need peace again.

Nobody wants to call a spade a spade.

Everyone is saying everything apart from the fact that Tinubu has failed and should never be anywhere contesting for reelection.

And you had the audacity to create a thread where you were praising the president

A wise man can learn one or two things even from the devil.

Live become very hard that parents wouldn't bother at to look after their children all they do is to make money and provide for their meal .
Re: Sad Pictures Of The Day. (Viewers Discretion) by edogu(m):
I pray they get rescued. It's quite unfortunate that while some children were celebrating children's day yesterday, other children were and are still being held captive. When the president was asked question yesterday concerning the insecurity in the country, his response will make you wonder if he truly understands what's going in the country.

Is it not the same op that was praising Tinubu and calling him his life mentor?

The truth is, Tinubu has failed.

Some will say hold your Governors and Senators and LGA Chairmen accountable, how?

Leadership flows from top to down and not down to up. Besides in Nigeria, it is only the President that has the whole power and resources to secure the nation. It is the President that controls every Nigerian government institution that have the constitutional power to hold every other government official accountable. If the President is working in Nigeria, it will definitely force other lower sectors of government to function.

Some in APC said it's the opposition and those that don't want President Tinubu to succeed that are sponsoring insecurity in Nigeria, what a stupid talk. If the insecurity in Nigeria is being sponsored by opposition or those that don't love Tinubu, then it's an opportunity for Tinubu to ruthlessly deal with them and make Nigeria safe and secure for ordinary Nigeria people.

If it's foreigners then confront them head on. Seek for foreign support to also wipe them out. Tit for tat.

The only reason insecurity has become worst under Tinubu is because Tinubu is highly incompetent and nothing more.

Tinubu is highly overrated by his people. Tinubu has done his best so far, he does not have anything else to do, he is as helpless as Nigerians currently under siege. Tinubu cannot give what he does not have. If it didn't de, it didn't de.

If it is playing dirty, cunning and divisive politics of using ethnic division to gain sentiments, Tinubu is a master in that aspect, nobody in Nigeria will beat him in that.

But when it comes to quality leadership that everyone can see and feel, Tinubu does not have the capacity and should never be reelected in 2027.

He has tried, we will remember him for the things he has done, please he should step aside let Nigerians try a different person and see if things can get better for all Nigerians.

We simply can't manage this kidnapping issue. It's high time we invited foreign bodies to come and assist us and stem the tide of things. I still wonder how ransoms are paid and yet this people can't be traced. We simply are years behind the modern world. Like a self inflicted pain

Let those who have the resources enjoy Children’s Day. Every year since I learned to read, journalists craft the same write-ups to soil days meant for celebration. So far humans remain greedy, bad news will never stop. If there is an afterlife, a minority of wicked folks will continue their wickedness in it.

Today is the 28th, now I can focus on this news. I ate to my fill yesterday. I hope you did too. Oh, today is another holiday. See you tomorrow.

This is the type of bastards that our security forces will labor to capture and the useless Nigerian government will do radicalization and reintegrate them back to the society.

If Nigerians don't push APC out in next election these insecurities will keep getting worse.

Foreign bodies are already assisting you and you still have this level of insecurity. America created a base in your country because they claim they wanted to fight boko haram but since then the activities of boko haram is now moving towards the south of the country.

Let's just have a quick look at this. Definitely a bit of a lively debate. A few observations, really. Mostly a gentle, measured assessment of the situation.

Re: Sad Pictures Of The Day. (Viewers Discretion) by Helpfromabove1(m): 9:31am On May 28
This is very sad

Politicians can not be playing with the lives of our children

Who ever is behind this nonsense has to stop

And the president needs to do his primary job by making sure this children get rescued

The only thing he good at is just politics and not governance
