For your information, maybe you aren't aware that Emeka Ike used to spend long periods of time in Abuja over the years, even as far back as the year 2010. So, he has contacts here and knows the local politics to an extent.

Abeg, he's allowed to contest. I even want him to emerge winner if it's in his luck to. I was hoping for that comedian guy MC T to win it , but he stepped down just a day ago or so. My political associates here say that we should rally for and support Honourable Obika, once again, for the House of reps seat, but I don't really feel I want him now that Mr Emeka Ike has declared to contest.
He has tried this years ago in Imo State but didn't win. Let him give it a shot once again. This time in Abuja. My childhood Nollywood hero/celeb , so, why not? I knew him before any if the other contestants. 😁😁

He and Jim Iyke are known to have frequently visited Abuja in the past. Could be when he started getting interested in Abuja politics.

Oga, check my name I am not from the region u are thinking. The indigenous people of Abuja needs to really work on their self. They are not ready to lead, always leaving challenges and issues for visitors to solve and do like say nothing concerns them in their own local environment. Most times I ask the same questions where are the indigenes why are visitors taking positions?
