Its because your African leaders are terribly greedy and failed to understand the consequences of letting such valuable resources to exploited.
You know what, they are not coming to exploit your resources because they don't have them. Don't be surprise that they may have more resources than you have in your African countries, but because they understand the terrible consequences of exploring those resources, they prefer not to touch them, and look else where (full of greedy people) to exploit/explore. Just know that, money WILL NEVER be able to replace value attached to unexploited places in our various communities across Africa.

Cambodia Orders African Nationals To Leave By May 31 Or Face Jail Term, $8,000 Fine

The Royal Government of Cambodia has issued a stern immigration directive ordering African nationals currently residing in the country to leave before May 31, 2026, warning that anyone found remaining in the country illegally after the deadline would face arrest, imprisonment and heavy financial penalties.

The directive is contained in an “Official Notice” issued by the General Department of Immigration under Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior.

The notice, addressed to “all African nationals in the Kingdom of Cambodia (Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon, Uganda and others),” stated that an existing waiver granted to affected foreigners would officially expire on May 31, 2026."

The move is expected to affect several African nationals currently residing in Cambodia under temporary immigration waivers or overstayed residency arrangements.

According to the Cambodian authorities in its address to affected Africans, “the waiver granted to you will officially end on 31st of May 2026.”

The government further instructed that “all foreign nationals whose fines have been cleared must leave Cambodia on or before 31st of May 2026.”

The notice warned that any African national who remains in Cambodia beyond the deadline would face severe legal consequences.

It stated, “Any foreign national who enters, remains or is found in Cambodia from 1st of June 2026 will be arrested at the airport or at any location.”

The authorities added that offenders “shall serve a jail term of 2 (two) years; and pay a penalty of $8,000 (Eight Thousand US Dollars) before being allowed to leave Cambodia.”

The Cambodian government also disclosed that nationwide arrests of undocumented foreigners would commence immediately after the expiration of the deadline.

According to the statement, “The Cambodia Police will start arresting any foreigner at any hideout in Cambodia from 1st of June 2026 for overstay and will hand over to the immigration authorities for legal action.”

The government urged all affected persons to comply strictly with the directive, stressing that violations of Cambodia’s immigration laws would not be tolerated.

“All concerned are hereby informed to strictly comply with this notice. The Royal Government of Cambodia will not tolerate any violation of our immigration laws,” the notice added.

The notice was issued by Lt. Gen. Som Sopheak, Director General of the General Department of Immigration, and approved by Gen. Sar Sokha, Secretary of State at Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior.

It is good, those countries should kick out Africans especially Nigerians, I also hope it is extends to western coubtries too, that Canada in particular. You cannot put useless people in power who then ruin the country, you then run to another peoples country who have chosen proper leaders to make the place conducive to stay. Funny thing is thag those same Africans from abroad will from there still be supporting the political class that made them refugees. One idiot like that was shouting buhari, Sai baba, by the time economy hit him he ran to Canada with his family at over age 50, guys were shocked, one asked him on Facebook why he ran, the guy said he did not see hope for himself and his family in naija any longer, funning thing is he started again with Tinubu, Jagaban this, builder of men that, he will curse and run down Obi and others at every opportunity, meanwhile na refugee for Canada. That guy should be sent back to come and enjoy naija under Apc.

You choose to be naive about Obi and it is a personal choice made by you for reasons likely that he is igbo and mabe you are Yoruba. Oga obi is not a thief and his lifestyle shows it, he has been in the position, why has he not been arrested and prosecuted, after all rufai, malami etc are all facing charges. Practically all governors have criminal dossiers on themselves, from Oga at the top all the way to the boffun in the senate, why is it Obi has non? Guy how many of the politicians Nigeria has had that had a life before joining politics? It is been told to you Obi was already wealthy, not as a government official but in free enterprise. Oga when you look at Obi, know the fellow is peers with Jim ovia, Tony elumelu, late wigwe, fola adeola etc, people that got to the peak of the banking industry, not briefcase contractors who use padded contracts to accumulate wealth. The least can be said of the current fellow who we do not know what primary school he attended, the secondary school was established years after he claimed to go there, there is currently a 2m reward for anyone that can show just 1 classmate of his, he claimed to be an accountant who worked with deloitte, the company says they have no records of him. The only known source of wealth is being the overload of Lagos state. Abi did you hear Obi setup a company collecting percentage of the income of Anambra state? Did you hear he converted government land and properties to his associates? Did you hear Obi setting up and collecting "pension" for life after living government house?
Anyway you know the truth but decide to be blinded and it is your choice, truth of the matter is that Nigeria is where we are today a economic disgrace, abi is your life better under the current fellow? heck for all we know you have ran away to live abroad and from there still supporting those that made naija so unbearable.
