I have had a frank discussion with Nairalanda1 and I told him most of his solutions he proffered are similar to that of PO.

I would want you to look up on the documentary, "men who built America ".

America 🇺🇸 was as corrupt, if not more than today's Nigeria. It took just one president to set the path of which today's America is known.

I don't expect PO to magically fix the country over night but it's the transformational changes that he will set on motion that will be built on by successive government that I look forward to.

I'll will leave you with a quote from Peter Obi

"If the head is not corrupt, you'll cut corruption by 50%".
Okay....at least you do have some understanding of the root problems....now you know that Obi would like to pick Kwakwaso as his VP(same man entangled in the present US terrorism networking investigations)..... you've also seen him made huge donations to the North(a form of appeasement )and also we've seen pics with him and gumi as well.

Now all these are strategies because he(Obi) at this point in time has already realized that the system doesn't recognize real/legit/original.....one must form alliance with certain questionable characters and should those characters chose to help anyone achieve anything it'll be at a cost.....which will now mean that it's almost impossible to get there on a clean slate and effect the much needed change. To get there on a clean slate, you'll need the citizens to back you up and be willing to d*e to protect you and ur votes which is also almost impossible when you have tribalism, religious extremism/bigotry, self centeredness, illiteracy, disunity etc.

I repeat again.... dealing with Nigeria's problems must be spearheaded from the grassroots..... it's too complex to be a one man thing.....their must be a change of mentality, goals, views, desires etc by majority of average Nigerians before you'll see the Nigerian dream come to pass....do you think you think the people that frustrated GEJ government will just sit down and fold their arms while Obi dismantle the present system which benefits them?. undecided ......and those people I am talking about aren't just the few elite one's, they have pawns they could easily use religion, poverty, illiteracy to manipulate ooo.

Someone has got to try.

As I suggest, make effort to watch the documentary titled "men who built America".

The president that set the change in motion was sponsored by cutthroat businessmen that what the rot to continue but when he came in he did otherwise.

The decay in this country is deeper than anyone can imagine but if any change must happen it got to start with the head.

Someone have got to try.

Someone has to try but if we look at America as well and Nigeria we will still see that Nigeria's situation is much tougher.....at least there weren't plenty languages in America back then and one religion was dominant which would make speaking with one voice and sharing a similar goal more achievable but Nigeria's own will be more difficult.....anyway someone has to try like you said and we all have to try as well....we mustn't wait for some sole messiah.

The "sole messiah" as you chose to call it is the CATALYST.

We have mahatma Gandi, Nelson Mandela, Fidel Castrol, Lee Kuan Yew etc. These are men who ignited the change in the respective countries and I identify PO as the man that can do the same in Nigeria.

As for the multilingual nature of Nigeria being a challenge. I don't think so.

America 🇺🇸 has the highest number of spoken languages in the world 🌎 (I stand corrected). We have virtually all countries represented in America yet it did not affect there unity.

There was a time Nigerians were so unity. At least I was old enough to know that.

Then I remember how people will freely give out food and water to the herders.

We can get back to that era. We need that "sole messiah" that will galvanise the people towards a better Nigeria 🇳🇬.
