LollyP94:That's the essence of the alliance. Kwankwaso is more than capable to deliver that. Opinion leaders dictate northern votes. District/village heads, local chiefs, imams influence the average citizen on who to vote. Going to directly campaign to the people in the north (NW especially) is useless ![]() Instead, you get the opinion leaders to trust you. Then, they'll do the work. With my experience in the north, Obi can't directly convince these people to trust him, the trust gap is too wide. If he's able to get some big northern politicians to trust him, they will do the work, with the hope of taking over in 2031. They will be the face of the movement in their region. I believe it's possible but this "I'm the best" mentality of Obi and his supporters won't cut it. |

Basic123:You Tinubu supporters always make one big mistake... Anybody that criticize Tinubu is either an Igbo man or he supports Obi. Only a shallow minded person thinls that way. Besides, they are all politicians. No kill yourself defending them because you go just die for nothing. None of them send your papa ![]() |

Inspirer1:Don’t come up with that baseless talk, the only reason Tinubu let Buhari contest ahead of him is because the previous president was a southerner with over 5 years in power. However, Buhari left power after 8 years and 2 northerners (Atiku / Kwankwaso) were dismissive enough to contest as if Presidency belongs to the north alone. |

ottersberger:Per the bolded, I nor fit laugh, they are now your brothers àbi? They are no longer "non-Christian" people that don't like peace and almajiri holding the country back blah blah blah. All the stereotypes you have brought out to besmirch and lambast the North no longer apply, kò? Not long ago, you Obidients were hailing Atiku when Peter Obi joined ADC, now you have reverted to type and started abusing and insulting him. As soon as Kwankwaso starts to make some noise about wanting the Presidential ticket in NDC, which he is legally entitled to, you people will turn on him and your newly found brothers doing what you know best, abuse and insult. Hopefully he and his supporters remember the adage about the cane used to beat the first wife being kept securely for the second and subsequent wives. Obidients, you never cease to amaze with your wild emotional swings. |

Bentacur007:You guys think more of yourself. It's Obi that wants to reap where he did not sow, jumping up and down that is not greedy and desperate The more you guys continue this way, the more things get worse for you. The damage you have caused by arrogance and lack of tact is irreparable |

aswani:Ah, my good friend and brother!. Did you hear that Tinubu cancelled his planned tour of three nations as soon as the good news hit the airwaves?. Even now, the Mikanoites are still wailing. I sent my assistant to get new sets of buckets and handkerchiefs for their tears. OK, seriously, I was never comfortable with Atiku's presence alongside Peter Obi. Some of us knew today will come sooner than later, we pushed for it. The reason is my firm belief that he is part of the problem in Nigeria today. Sicknesses do not cure themselves. Like Tinubu, I believe that all he wants is power for the sake of it, not for our benefit. Like Tinubu, the papa has passed his sold-by date. We wanted an alliance with Dr Kwankwaso since 2022, so this isn't really new. I know how you feel about Obidients, but if Tinubu cancels his already announced plans as we are witnessing now, then I think there must be something we are doing right for Nigerians. Have you noticed that I've always had kind words for you?. It's intentional. I believe you belong with us. Changes are better engineered from within, not without. Get in touch and I'll put you in touch with the real ninjas. The cavalry have just arrived. Hit me up.

ottersberger:Whilst I appreciate your kind sentiments in your last paragraph, until the needlessly quick resort to insultive and abusive behaviour is shed by Obidients or explicitly called out by Peter Obi, I am afraid I cannot be part of your revolution. I will wait for Prof Soludo or Bianca to throw their hat in the ring and join that one instead, God keep us all till then. Ontop of which, Peter Obi and Kwankwaso are both bonafide members of this useless political class that care not a jot about common people. I don't know why President Tinubu cancelled his plans but I doubt it's because of NDC, what can he do physically that he can't do in an online meeting? I wish NDC luck with this new Combo, hopefully it can cause ADC and APC to quake in their boots and consequently bend over backwards for we the people in seeking to attract our votes. I doubt it though but that is my humble opinion. |

Delat521:So what happened to an Igbo man? How has religious and tribal politics have helped us in this country? Atiku is not strategic about his ambition, reason he is a serial loser. He should endorse Obi and be an elder statesman. |
| Re: Kwankwasiyya Leader Kabiru Adamu Abdullahi Resigns From ADC On Kwankwaso’s Order by Delat521: 8:06am On May 30 |
temisartana:This is exact mentality I was appealing to. Actually is Obi and obidient that are not strategic about their ambition. Leave Atiku the man will never step down or endorse anybody. He prefer to contest and loose than doing that. So how can Obi be strategic about his ambition. Move to Atiku camp and form syñergy with him. Deputize him and aim at removing Tinubu from Aso rock. Infact he can strike a deal with Atiku that he will only support to become VP if he will use only one term. If he make that move believe me Even with power of incumbency Tinubu will be shiting inside is sokoto. But with this fragmentation of opposition, Tinubu is winning another term and that will mar obi chance ever becoming president. |
